Smart Risk Management Tool for TradingView
- Overview

FXMANS Risk & Lot Panel is a lightweight and professional risk management tool designed to help traders calculate position size (lot) and take-profit levels directly on the chart, without cluttering the screen.

The panel is displayed as a minimal table in the top-right corner of the chart and automatically adapts to the currently opened symbol.

This tool focuses on clarity, precision, and usability, making it suitable for scalpers, day traders, and swing traders.

- Key Features
Automatic Direction Detection

The script can automatically determine BUY or SELL direction based on:

Entry Price
Stop Loss Price

Logic:

Stop Loss below Entry → BUY
Stop Loss above Entry → SELL
Manual override is available if auto direction is disabled.

Risk-Based Lot Size Calculation

Calculates position size based on:
User-defined risk amount in USD
Distance between Entry and Stop Loss
Symbol-specific tick size and point value
Ensures consistent risk management across all markets.

Automatic Take Profit (RR Based)

Take Profit is calculated automatically using a predefined Risk / Reward (RR) ratio.

Supports both BUY and SELL scenarios.

Enter your Entry Price and Stop Loss Price
Define your Risk Amount ($)
Set your desired Risk / Reward ratio
The script automatically calculates:
Trade Direction (BUY / SELL)
Lot Size
Take Profit Level
All results are displayed instantly in the panel

- Example Use Case

Risk: $100
Entry: 1.0850
Stop Loss: 1.0800
RR: 2.0

- The panel will automatically display:

Direction: BUY
Lot Size adjusted to risk exactly $100
Take Profit at 2R

- Important Notes

Entry and Stop Loss prices must be valid (greater than zero).
The tool does not place trades automatically.
Calculations are for position sizing only and may vary slightly depending on broker specifications.

Interactive Trading Lines Feature

The updated script now includes Interactive Visual Lines, which transform the indicator from a static calculator into a dynamic visual trading tool.

1. Drag-and-Drop Price Selection
Instead of typing numbers manually into the settings, I have implemented input.price with the confirm=true parameter.

How it works: When you open the indicator settings and click on the price icon next to Entry or Stop Loss, you can simply click anywhere on your chart to set the level.

Result: The panel updates your Lot Size and TP instantly based on where you clicked.

2. Live Visual Levels
The script now renders three distinct lines on your chart:

Entry Line (Dashed Gray): Shows exactly where your trade setup starts.

Stop Loss Line (Solid Red): A thick red line for clear risk visualization.

Take Profit Line (Solid Green): Automatically calculates and displays your target based on your chosen Risk/Reward (RR) ratio.

3. Real-Time Dynamic Updates
The lines are programmed to extend into the future (to the right of the current bar) so they don't clutter your historical candles.

If you move your Stop Loss closer to your Entry, the Lot Size in the panel will increase automatically.

The TP Line will shift dynamically as you move your SL or Entry to maintain your exact RR ratio.

Customizable Panel Appearance

I have reintroduced the Panel Size setting under a new group called 🎨 APPEARANCE. This allows you to scale the dashboard to fit your screen resolution or personal preference.

Key features of this update:

Three Scalable Sizes:

Small: Perfect for laptop screens or if you want the panel to be unobtrusive while focusing on price action.

Medium (Default): Balanced for standard monitors.

Large: Ideal for high-resolution (4K) monitors or if you need the LOT SIZE to be highly visible from a distance.

Dynamic Font Scaling: When you change the "Panel Size" in the settings, every text element inside the table (from the Header to the Lot Size) scales proportionally using Pine Script's text_size constants.

Organized Menu: The setting is placed in its own category at the bottom of the settings menu to keep the "Risk" and "Trade Levels" sections clean and focused on calculation.
