Smart Trading and Investment Companion (STIC) is a sophisticated tool designed to identify and visualize inducement, market structure, market trends, track liquidity, and project and forecast price action for all applicable assets. it has been tested to work on all timeframes and has been traded on stock, forex, and crypto assets.
This script is an upgraded version of previous STIC indicator, which you can use in addition to it or separately as you deem fit
Traders/ investor that are familiar with market structure, inducement, candlestick psychology, trend-following indicatorsand Fair Value Gap FVG will find it easy to adopt this trading and investment companion. As stated below, this is how it works.
Features and how to use
1st of all, after adding the indicator to yoursuperchart, you want to endusre to set your <visual order> to <bring to front> so as to enable you see the text labeling clearly. to do that, after adding the indicator to your chart, right click it on the list, you will se the Visual order option.
By analyzing the trends and dimensions, we are able to predict market extremes conditions, especially in pump and dump scenarios. (the bullish or bearish P/D extreme alerts).
The arrows trigger to indicate when the market flips to bullish (green) or bearish (red) conditions. note that this arrow is just a market flip confirmation and it it triggered by market trends, it does not come one time and sometimes later after market trigger conditions had been met.

By analyzing market extreme conditions, market sentiment, and liquidity, the buy/sell potential alert trigger is able to determine the state of the market, This can and should be used in combination with the market flip line (MFL)[the yellow line from , market flip trigger (MFT) (purple line), and market support/resistance line (MSR)(blue line) . [Note: you can change the colors to suit you]
this is real-time triangles indicator just like every other indicator on theis chart that indicates the market direction labeled with buy and sell. Note that the market-extended extreme can occur multiple times in the same direction. Hence, we'll advise having multiple trade entries.
Market Flip Trigger Line (MFTL) (Magenta): When the market crosses and closes below or above the Market Flip Trigger Line, you should wait for a confirmation. a confirmation is usually a retest or rejection of the line. A candle close and reject indicates the market as flip direction and it is going for a correction or major reversal. it is applicable on all timeframe.
As mentioned earlier, if you understand market structure and sentiment, using the uFVG, iFVG, upLQTY, downLQTY and BOS will be easy. however, this is how it works, you may need tohave and expanded readbout market structure for additional knowledge.
The indicator appear at the close and confirmation on the 3rd candle and it is extended to only appear on 200 bars applicable on all timeframes.
This is a bullish sentiment and liquidty inducement order block that occurs, leading to the break of trend structure and change of character. Meaning the market sentiment as change which is backed up by liquidity in that region, which mostly gets filled, especially on lower timeframes before the price action continues. If price revese breaks and hold above this region, it invalidates the order block. This will always appear when there is a confirmed change of character CHoCH to the bullish side.

This is a bearish order block that occurs, leading to the break of structure and change of character. Meaning there is bearish liquidity yet to be accounted for in the region, which mostly gets filled, especially on lower timeframes before the price action continues. If broken, it invalidates the order block. This will always appear when there is a confirmed change of character from CHoCH to the bearish side.
From general knowledge, FVG also know as Fair value gaps are inbalnace created by a 3 candlestick pattern where the top of the bottom candles doesn't cross the bottom of the top candle. like order block, these are supply and demand zones that has the potential to change the direction of a trade. This mostly indicate the presense of big plays in the market. for STIC indicator, FVG are labeled as listed below;
UFVG, also FVGup, {Colour green box} = bullish imbalance fair value gap
IFVG, aka FVGdown, {Red box} = bearish imbalance fair value gap
OIFVG, {Yellow box, no label} = other imbalances fair value gab
You should not that FG has upper, lower and middle band, any of the this area can be induced and filled by price.

Patience and a good risk management strategy are required to be profitable trader using this tool. You need to ensure not to overleverage, and you should have multiple entries in case the buy coditions/alert shows again below the previous buy alert before a sell condition/alert occurs.

Market flip triggers are optimized.Toward identifying a possible correction or market flip. This alert helps you to potentially position for a reversal while you combine the output with other indicators on the chart, like the FVG and other buy and sell conditions.
This trigger alerts you when the market potentially enters a correction phase. This can help us identify when Bitcoin will break down for correction or retracement.
NOTE: This alert can be set on all timeframes, but for bear/bull market triggers, it is best set on 12H, daily, or weekly TF.

Always getting better!The latest update include filtering off invalid entry and exits.
The latest update target Short entry at Swing High and Long entries at Swing low, while optimizing consolidated region.
The best way to use STIC is to to pick you entries on lower time frame, use the Stop-Loss trigger on 2-4x the entry timeframe and use Take profit trigger on 8-16x of the entry timeframe

Inducements
Inducement occurs when institutional trader create fakeout scenarios so as to induce traders into taking a direction that most likely reverse after few candlestick. This update tends to point out occasions like that as they are occurring (Live). This also helps you indentify potential invalid entries.
Bull or Bear inducement, tells you when to calm down. don't chase it.
The inducement alert as also been added to alert list as <bull and bear inducement>
Talking about inducement, note that the <extreme Alert take some profit> alert is not really and entry signal, it is best used as exit or means to adjust your SL.
Bearish Take profit
This update also includes a Take some Sell profit alert for bear traders (market down trend), it can also help you know which sell alert is invalid especially when Take some sell profit alert and eSell occurs on the same candlestick with a sell sentiment alert. it is a potential inducement.

Highs and lows
The high of the candlestick holding uBOS can be termed as the High, HH or HL while the Lows of the candlestick holding lBOS can be termed as the Low, LL or LH.
Understanding market structure is an added advantage.
A valid entry is one without inducement. however, taking an induced entry could still go in th direction, but its best to be calm and wait for entry confirmation. use the STIC alert with the tradingview alert system.
As efficient as the latest update is, please note that inducement alert are not 100%, there might some lapses.

One of the mistake I believe I had made in the early phase of developing STIC is my focus on catching entries at extremes without confirmation of direction, (swing highs and lows). as goo as that is, it is not feassibe in all market situation as the market is dynamic, so it is best to wait for confimation. I've resolved that

Scalp Long and Short: this alert as meant for scalper (optional). just a short term in and out. Note that as much as they are valid most time, they can get you induced sometime. especially if they occur in an inverse MS zone.

Bear sentiment = Sell Signal

Market Structure (MS) mode determination has been automated and it is effective per timeframe. bullishness (blue) or bearishness (red).

Take profit Alert updated:
Any take profit alert: this alert is best used on a TF 2-4x higher than your entry timeframe.
Bullish/Bearish take profit (same entry SM TF): this alert can be used effectively on same TF as your entry and/or 2x the entry TF. You can make use if the TradingView alert system.
Risk plot:
The latest update also includes showing the risk per valid entry. You can enable this feature in the indicator settings. Risk is needed in your long/short projection tool to determine where your SL should be.

Short/Long Extreme Exit Trim:
This helps you make a profit at extremes. when you see this alert, it is best to take your profit and wait for entry.

Alert name: Short/Long extreme exit trim
Inducement alert Threshold: As market and assets are very dynamic, it is best to put the entry invalidation alert (inducement alert) in your hands. You can now manually adjust your inducement threshold in the indicator input settings. Default value is 37. When trading a very choppy asset, you can step it up to 40+.
Trading Golden Nugget: While using STIC, note that, you should have LTF, MTF an HTF. Place entry on LTF and protect profit or TP on MTF and HTF. LFT is only for entry. When you place your entry on LTF, switch your chart to MTF or HTF to monitor your trade if you need to.
Except I notice an oversight, this should be the last STIC update for a while. Everything is now in place for you to be profitable in your trading journey.

Yeah, I know at the end of the last update I mentioned that it may be the last push. However, I noticed some anomaly so I have to make this fix.This update includes fixing bug related to calibration alert and scalp entry which was causing the plotting of some invalid entries.
Also, Buy signal is now Buy Sentiment and sell signal now Sell sentiment. I believe buy being
synonymous to Bull and sell being Bear is a general knowlegdge

Noticed the need for a fix, here it is.Entries
I have deprecated <Any Buy and sell alert condition> for <Long or short Entry detection alert>. this alert is set by default once you select the indicator in your alert. you will not see any bullish buy or any bearish sell alert again as this alert has replaced it. it is automated.
just ensure you are on the timeframe you want the alert to be set on and enable your trading view alert.
the alert comes with the projected risk to the trade.
here is the alert sample
this is included to help you catch extreme entries as you will now have the <potential short and long TP alert> on your chart. It is like a 2FA for the Take some profit alert and can potentially be used as entry if valid. When valid, you will get the alert along side the risk for the entry.
Note that, catching extremes may have a short SL and high risk which may open you to potential SL catfishing (hunting) by institutional investors. you would want to scalp out your profit if you use such entry. You can correlate the alert with the alert plot on your chart to know which is which.
To know if the Potential TP alert is valid for entry, enable <Show risk>. A valid label will also carry a risk label. Get in early enough.
Take profit:
The take profit alert has now been split into 3 different types which can be set in different timeframes as label. The 1st take profit alert can be used on 4x your entry timeframe.
Long/Short Take some profit alert has also been included in the alert list. You can take about 25-75% of your profit when this alert occurs

Based on feedbacks and requests, this update is warrantedInstitutional Inducement threshold
In the previous update, the inducement threshold was made available in the indicator input setting. The default is now set to 47. Feel free to adjust as you want based on the asset you are trading. A low figure might make you miss valid entries.
Entry and Risk value plot
In the previous update, the risk and the entry were separated on different plots; now we have both the valid entry and risks on the same label.
How is the risk value used?
The risk value is equivalent to the height between your supposed SL and your entry while using the long/short projection tool.
Note that if you are using the risk value, it is only configured to work on a timeframe lower than 1H TF; using it in a higher TF may lead to a risk plot that may get your SL encroached on in some occassions.
It is also important to state that to increase load time and have a cleaner chart, entry labels are only now plotted on the 1st 99 bars. And to reiterate, you may see several valid entries; it is best to pick your entry early on lower TF say M15 and target to take profit on medium or higher TF say 1H or 4H
Enable Show extreme paint (optional)
You can enable this feature in the input setting of the indicator. This feature can help you, in most cases, know when the market is getting to extreme and help you follow up by protecting your profit.
Potential Bullish/Bearish Swing
This feature was in the previous update but doesn't have an alert. You can set the alert through the TradingView alert tool. It is the potential long or short with the label Long TP/sell or Short TP/buy, respectively, on the chart.

Stop-loss labelI will be replacing the risk label with SL; I don't know why I didn't think to do that before now.
All valid bullish or bearish entries will now carry Stop-Loss (SL). You can add a bit to it if you want.
Note that the default MTF is 1H and entries are projected in the M15 timeframe.
Also, the uBOS and lBOS are now disabled by default to help give a clearer chart, but you can easily enable them in the input section of the indicator setting.
Extreme paint
As seen here, you can enable the extreme flag paint in your setting; this helps you know when the market is getting to extreme and you can protect your profit along the way.

One of the major challenges traders face is stop-loss and stop-loss encroachment. Most people don't actually know where to put SL when trading. I do make that mistake too, hence this update. Note that the SL here is not entirely absolute; to avoid double/trippe to encroachment sometime, its best to add some margin.The SL label on each entry is now dynamically calculated depending on the timeframe you selected to pick your entry. It now works on M1, M3, M5, M15, M30, 1H, 2H, 4H, 12H, 24H, and 1W timeframe.
Also, the entry condition has been optimized.

So I don't want to delay this update any longer. I intend on adding a time zone boundary condition, but it will be coming with it in the next release. (I am kind of lazy to write code right now, but I will try scripting it this week.)This release includes:
Optimized entry model, take profit, and stop-loss label for scalp traders. The scalp mode feature has been tested extensively on 5-minute TF. result on other TF may vary.
Scalp mode is enabled by default. You can disable it in the input settings, which will take you back to swing mode once disabled in the settings.
Scalp mode Entry and TP: You can also enable the Show Scalp mode exit diamond alert. This helps you know when to exit the trade even before your SL hits. You will see LTP (red diamond below candlestick) and STP (green diamond above candlestick), meaning Long TP or Short TP, respectively.
Candlestick color: The candlestick color is now set to orange for bear phase and blue for bull phase. You can, however, change the color in the setting to whatever you like.
Partial TP and full TP: you now have both partial TP and protect your profit TP alert and plot.
BOS lines can be enabled in the setting.
Inducement threshold default is set to 55; you can increase or decrease based on the asset you are trading. range is 0-100
Institutional demand and supply liquidity region:
You can enable or disable this feature in the input setting. This allows you to know and see where the potential SL liquidity resides—as we all know, smart money like hunting liquidity. You'll also get a label whenever the liquidity gets encroached. The magenta line is to supply liquidity, while the green is to demand liquidity.
Scalp mode take profits are now included in the alert conditions.
Personally, I prefer scalp mode TP.

So I overcame my laziness and decided to work on the time zone feature. You can now select up to 8 different trading session zones in UTC+0. This update also includes bug fixes on some entries and TP conditions.Go through the How to Use for better understanding, and feel free to ask you questions in the comment section if you have any.
To help you align with a better risk management and trade plan for the year, you can now enable your desired trading session and then your alert. You will only get plots and entry alerts sent within your selected time zone.
HOW TO USE:
Step 1: Get access. Check the author's note at the based on the script release note.
Step 2: After adding the indicator to your chart. You will see the effect on your chart once added.

Entry alert: The alert comes with the preferred stop loss price. You can see you when you pick any of the valid entries. The gives you your valid entry. It covers close price, risk margin, high/low depending on the direction, asset pair, and exchange. Alert is only sent upon confirmation at candle close.
Scalp mode long TP: If you enabled the show, in the input settings. On the chart, this is represented as a red diamond dot labelled LTP. It is your trigger to exit the position or protect your profit as the market is getting toward extreme in your current time frame.
Scalp mode short TP: On the chart, you can see this as the green diamond dot labelled STP on at the top of the valid candlestick. It is your trigger to exit the position or protect your profit as the market is getting toward extreme in your current time frame.
Scalp mode Long take some profit: This is a trigger to protect your long position profit or take a partial profit. You will get the asset pair name, candlestick close, open, high and low, timeframe, and volume.
Scalp mode Short Take some profit: This is a trigger to protect your long position or profit or take a partial profit. You will get the asset pair name, candlestick close, open, high and low, timeframe, and volume.
Scalp mode Bull stop-loss/Trail profit: The alert works as your stop-loss and also your trail profit to guide your long position. The DSL feature alerts you to the need to adjust your SL to protect your profit, just like a trail would do. You can decide the margin you want.

Any bullish take profit and any bearish take profit: This alert is best used in swing mode. You can set it on 4x-12x your entry timeframe.
Trend Bullish Take profit (4-16x entry TF) and trend bearish Take profit (4-16x entry TF): In addition to any bullish/bearish, take profit alert. This can also be used.
Bullish Break or Bearish Break: As a liquidity and market structure trader, this is a valid alert for when the market has a valid break of structure. However, it is best used with multiple levels of entries.
Calibration Alert: If you are automating the indicator, you can use this alert as a calibration alert.
Potential bullish swing (low) or potential bullish swing (high): This is best used on a high time frame for a long-term trade. It has tested to be not very effective on scalping.
Bullish inducement and bearish inducement: The inducement alert is basically an entry invalidation alert. There are times you get the inducement alert and the market continues in the trend direction. The effectiveness depends on the asset you are trading. It helps you know when there is an institutional bullish or bearish pump or dump. This most usually occurs in manipulated situations. So it's best to get a valid entry before you take an entry. It can also be used as a trade exit signal. Effectiveness varies based on asset volatility.
Volatile Bullish extreme or Volatile Bearish extreme: This alert is indicated on the chart at Extreme alert. It usually occurs in the market, getting what we can pump and dump P&D. it is a way to induce trade into trade. It can also be used as an entry in a few cases. but it is best used for entities in spot trade scenarios. When you get the alert, it's best to either take your profit, take partial profit, or protect your profit. It has more effect on medium and high timeframes
Potential Market flip Bear: This alert is best used to indicate potential bull mode reversal. you can use it on any timeframe.
Note that the indicator performs well on assets with good volume; otherwise, you will be getting inducement and extreme alert/plot back-to-back.
Also, scalp entry is best on M5 or M15, as you would want to close your trade within the day or time zone session.

some error/oversight fixed So I overcame my laziness and decided to work on the time zone feature. You can now select up to 8 different trading session zones in UTC+0. This update also includes bug fixes on some entries and TP conditions.
Go through the How to Use for better understanding, and feel free to ask you questions in the comment section if you have any.
To help you align with a better risk management and trade plan for the year, you can now enable your desired trading session and then your alert. You will only get plots and entry alerts sent within your selected time zone.
HOW TO USE:

In addition to previous update, this update includes addition ofMarket extreme level 1, 2 and 3 features: The market has different extreme-level phases, hence the different levels. You can use the extreme levels as entries; however, it is best to use them as exits. I most often use EL3 as entry sometime, but in swing mode or spot trading. They're presented as EL1, EL2, and EL3 on the chart.
Scalp mode partial TP toggle: for partial TP, you can use this alert to notify you when to take some profit. Diamond-shaped labeled PTPl and PTPs for potential TP long and potential TP short, respectively.
You can enable and disable the feature chart plot in the indicator input settings.

I thought I was done, but adding a little good stuff and also optimizing the entry conditions is not a bad idea.This update included:
Optimization to the entry conditions toward removing noise, invalidation, and trimming market consolidation phase entries.
Market Extreme Alert: Best used for Swing entries or exits.
You can enable or disable the triangle in the indicator input settings.
To set the alert, use the.
To allow for faster plotting and a cleaner chart, the extended buy and sell (eBuy2 and eSell2) plot has been deprecated.
Also, the partial scalp TP shape has been changed from diamond to circle; you can change the setting as you like.
Reminder: Ensure to enable the timeframe you want to be getting alerts and plots.

So I did a little something to make the partial TP plot and alert much better. It projected to plot TP at about 1x-1.5x of your risk.Also, you might have noticed that in a few cases, you get the entry (Buy/Sell sentiment plot), and later you couldn't find the plot again on the chart. e.g
I am aware of the condition that causes this not-so-much-bug. The valid entry label to disappear after some candle can't really be removed, but if you are using an alert system for entries, you will get the alert. If I remove the condition, it will cause a number of invalid entry noises, hence the need to leave it... So it works fine in real time.
Note that, if you have already set an alert for any asset before any update, ensure to update your alert to the latest version.
