Black Tie Report Framework

386
The Black Tie Report Framework indicator is a market structure and bias analysis tool designed to provide traders with key price levels, session insights, and trend classification.

Key Features:

- Daily Separators: Automatically marks the start of each trading day for better session tracking.

- Bias Framework: Allows users to set a custom timeframe (e.g., daily, weekly, or monthly) to establish bullish, bearish, or neutral bias based on price action.

- Session Markers: Highlights key trading sessions such as Asia, London, and New York to identify volume shifts.

- Liquidity Levels: Plots significant highs and lows from different timeframes, helping traders focus on key liquidity zones.

- Automated Trend Identification: Uses predefined conditions to classify market direction and potential reversal points.

This framework is useful for traders looking to integrate objective market structure analysis into their strategy, eliminating noise and providing clear, actionable price levels for decision-making.

Minor code update.
Note di rilascio
Just a style update. If you use the default settings you'll see the charts exactly as I see them.
Note di rilascio
Added HTF candles with projections.

The indicator now displays the last two daily candles (current day and yesterday), allowing you to see the congruence between the Bias and the current candle’s behaviour relative to yesterday’s.
Note di rilascio
Minor code update, sessions were not showing correctly and I fixed it.
Note di rilascio
The indicator now compares the current candle’s open, high, low, and close on the daily timeframe with the previous candle’s key levels and then assigns one of 17 distinct scenarios.

Each scenario is labeled to show both the candle’s structure and the important support and resistance levels, which helps you understand the market’s bias.

Here’s an explanation of how the scenarios are defined and what they mean:

A) Breakouts

- Bullish Breakout: When the body of a bullish candle crosses above yesterday’s high, it is considered a bullish breakout. The previous high now becomes support as the price has moved decisively higher.

- Bearish Breakout: When the body of a bearish candle crosses below yesterday’s low, it signals a bearish breakout. The previous low becomes resistance as the price has dropped decisively.

B) Trap Bar

- Bullish Trap Bar: A bullish candle that dips below yesterday’s low and closes below yesterday’s close. This pattern can trap short sellers and may signal an upcoming reversal.

C) Failed Attempts

- Failed Breakdown: A bullish candle that temporarily tests below yesterday’s close but then recovers to close above it, indicating that the breakdown attempt was rejected.

- Failed Bullish Rally: A bearish candle during an attempted rally—its high goes above yesterday’s high, yet it still closes above yesterday’s close—suggesting that the rally has failed.

- Failed Bullish Breakout: A bearish candle that tests above yesterday’s high but closes below yesterday’s close, showing that the attempted bullish breakout did not hold.

D) Rejections (with an expected reversal bias)

- Bearish Rejection (Variant 1): A bearish candle whose low goes below yesterday’s low and closes below yesterday’s close, reinforcing the bearish move.

- Bearish Rejection (Variant 2): A bearish candle whose low goes below yesterday’s low but closes above yesterday’s close. Although the candle appears bearish, the overall expectation is for a reversal to the upside (hence the “Bullish:” prefix in this context).

E) High Tests and False Breakouts

- Previous High Test: A bullish candle that closes above yesterday’s close and also pushes above yesterday’s high, suggesting that yesterday’s high might now act as support.

- False Bullish Breakout: A bullish candle whose upper wick exceeds yesterday’s high but ultimately closes below yesterday’s close, meaning the attempted breakout was not sustained.

F) Inside Candles

- Bullish Inside Candle: A bullish candle that stays completely between yesterday’s close (acting as support) and yesterday’s high (acting as resistance), indicating consolidation.

- Bearish Inside Candle (Variant 1): A bearish candle confined between yesterday’s low and yesterday’s close.

- Bearish Inside Candle (Variant 2): A bearish candle confined between yesterday’s close and yesterday’s high.

G) Close Breaks (with or without a wick)

- Close Break: A candle that breaks the previous close while the rest of its body stays within yesterday’s range. For bullish candles, the close is above yesterday’s close; for bearish candles, it is below.

- Close Break with Wick: For bullish candles, this means the candle closes above yesterday’s close but has a lower wick (indicating a brief pullback). For bearish candles, a similar concept applies with an upper wick rejection. In both cases, the support and resistance levels remain defined by the previous day’s low and high.

Overall, these 17 scenarios provide a detailed framework for analyzing how the current candle interacts with the previous day’s key levels.

By clearly defining which levels serve as support or resistance and categorizing the candle’s behavior accordingly, this indicator removes ambiguity from candlestick patterns and offers a clear, rule-based method for gauging market bias.

This is the latest and most complete version of the Black Tie Report Framework—an evolution that merges the original framework with the Black Tie Fibonacci tool, plus a series of refinements added along the way. It’s the cleanest and most comprehensive version I’ve built so far.

What’s Included:
HTF Projection Candles
Projects up to 3 higher-timeframe candles onto your chart with optional levels and labels (Open, High, Low, Close). Helps visualize context without switching timeframes.

Fibonacci Levels
Customizable levels drawn from the previous session’s range. Includes optional OTE shading, clean labeling, and auto-drawn divisory lines to separate days.

Session Opens
Plots the London, New York, and Tokyo opens as horizontal lines with labels. Includes cutoff time to avoid overextension. Alerts trigger on touch.

Bias Engine
Analyzes the current candle structure against the previous session to define short-term bias (breakouts, traps, rejections, etc.). Bias updates live and displays in a compact table.

Impulsive Move Detection
Highlights high-velocity candles during key sessions using ATR filters. Useful for spotting strong directional intent.

Final Note:
This update consolidates all core elements of my system into one indicator—everything built around price, structure, and clarity. No fluff, just the essentials.
Note di rilascio
Today’s visible updates on the chart:

- Breakdown Continuation now marks true bearish breakdowns with support at the previous low and resistance at the previous close

- Trap Bar plus Weak Bullish Breakout highlights wick-based bounces as Weak Bullish Breakout with levels at the previous close and high

- Failed Breakout replaces complex names to show weak break attempts using the previous low and close

- Inside Candle now appears once per direction with clear support and resistance levels

- Weak Close flags soft bearish closes using the previous low and high

These changes make bias labels clearer and quicker to read.
Note di rilascio
Just minor change in naming.
Note di rilascio
Just a detail.
Note di rilascio
Bullish and Bearish Impulses are back!
If the bias is Bullish, just follow bullish impulses.
If the bias is Bearish, follow bearish impulses.

You can use them as entries or just to understand movements with high volume aligned with the HTF trend.

Enjoy it.

📈 Black Tie Report Framework (Updated Version)

This version improves clarity, filtering and real-time decision-making. Here's what changes from the previous version:

✅ New Functionalities

👉 Bias-Aligned Impulsive Moves: Impulses can now be filtered to show only when aligned with the current bias. This reduces noise and avoids false setups.

⚠️ Note: Impulses are drawn based on the active bias in real time. If the bias changes, only impulses matching the new bias will remain visible, unless you disable the filter.

👉 Liquidity Taken Alerts: New alerts trigger when price grabs liquidity (previous highs/lows) in the direction of the bias.

This gives more flexibility for trade entries. For example:

- Enter on bias-aligned impulsive move after price touched a key line (opens, high, lows)
- Enter on impulsive move after price took bias-aligned liquidity

You can also set alerts for Buy-side and Sell-side Liquidity taken.

🧹 Code and UX Optimisation
Code Cleanup: Redundant code removed, logic simplified, and naming improved

Grouped Settings: Inputs are now grouped for clarity (HTF Candles, Projections, Sessions, Fibonacci, Bias, Impulses)

Shorter Bias Descriptions: Clear, no-fluff messages like “Bullish: Breakout” or “Bearish: Inside Candle”

⚙️ Fully Customisable

You can personalise colours and line styles, session times, which alerts and visual elements you want active, whether to filter impulses or liquidity grabs by bias, etc.

Forget about manual work. There’s no pride in spending more time at the charts.

Speed, clarity, and precision win. Always.
