Pullback EMA - Yuri

34
📈 Pullback Signals – Yuri Cabral

This indicator was developed to identify technical pullback opportunities within well-defined trends. It combines Stochastic RSI extremes, price interaction with the 100-period EMA, and trend confirmation via exponential moving averages.
⚙️ How it works

The indicator generates long (buy) pullback signals and short (sell) pullback signals based on the following conditions:
✅ Long Pullback (Buy):

Stochastic RSI indicates oversold (K < 20);

The candle touches the 100 EMA with its low (even if it closes above it);

The 21 EMA is above the 200 EMA, confirming uptrend;

The candle is bullish (close > open);

(Optional) Volume is above the 20-period average.

When all conditions are met, a green triangle (▲) is plotted below the candle.

🔻 Short Pullback (Sell):

Stochastic RSI indicates overbought (K > 80);

The candle touches the 100 EMA with its high (even if it closes below it);

The 21 EMA is below the 100 EMA, confirming downtrend;

The candle is bearish (close < open);

(Optional) Volume is above the 20-period average.

When all conditions are met, a red triangle (▼) is plotted above the candle.

🎯 Objective

This setup is ideal for traders looking to capture mean reversion entries within established trends. It highlights technical retracements toward dynamic support or resistance provided by the 100 EMA.
🧰 Additional Features

Plots of EMA 21 (short), EMA 100 (mid), and EMA 200 (long);

Optional green/red background zones highlight active pullback areas;

Optional volume filter for signal confirmation;

Built-in alerts for pullback long and pullback short signals.

⚠️ Disclaimer

This tool does not generate automated orders and should be used as a complement to your technical analysis. Always validate signals with other market context (price action, key levels, volume structure).

📈 Pullback Signals – Yuri Cabral

This indicator is designed to capture high-probability pullback entries during well-defined trends. It combines Stochastic RSI, dynamic EMA zones, and price behavior relative to the 100 EMA, helping traders identify strong reversion points with confluence.
⚙️ How It Works

The indicator generates long (bullish) and short (bearish) pullback signals based on the following conditions:
✅ Long Pullback (Buy Signal):

Stochastic RSI K < 20 → indicates oversold momentum.

The candle touches or dips below the 100 EMA (based on its low, not just close).

EMA 21 is above EMA 200 → confirms uptrend.

Bullish candle (close > open).

(Optional) Volume is above the 20-period average.

📍 When all conditions are met, a green upward triangle (▲) appears below the candle.
🔻 Short Pullback (Sell Signal):

Stochastic RSI K > 80 → indicates overbought momentum.

The candle touches or exceeds the 100 EMA (based on its high).

EMA 21 is below EMA 100 → confirms downtrend.

Bearish candle (close < open).

(Optional) Volume is above the 20-period average.

📍 When all conditions are met, a red downward triangle (▼) appears above the candle.
🔔 Built-in Alerts

Only one alert setup is required:

Any alert() function call

The script will automatically trigger a message stating:

"Pullback long (bottom detected)"

"Pullback short (top detected)"

This simplifies alert management and is ideal for integrations with bots or mobile notifications.
🧰 Additional Features

Plots EMA 21 (short), EMA 100 (mid), and EMA 200 (long);

Optional context zones (green/red background) to visually highlight pullback areas;

Volume filter toggle for more selective signals.

⚠️ Disclaimer

This indicator does not execute trades and should be used as a supplementary tool in your strategy. For optimal performance, combine it with key support/resistance levels, market structure, and proper risk management.
