The Folded Relative Strength Index was created by Richard Poster (Stocks and Commodities July 2021 pg 21) and this indicator provides both trend strength but also momentum and of course reversal points using the overbought and oversold markers. If the indicator line is above the mid line then this shows upward momentum and when it falls below the midline then this...
This Indicator displays a normal RSI with overbought/-sold lines which is calculated with donchian channels, pivot channel, bollinger bands and three horizontal lines.
You can averaged the channels, bands and h-lines in any combination or you can use just one of them for calculating the overbought/-sold lines.
The midline is colored in default settings in yellow...
RSI Sᴜᴘᴘᴏʀᴛ & Rᴇꜱɪꜱᴛᴀɴᴄᴇ ʙʏ DGT
This experimental study attempts to translate Relative Strength Index (RSI) threshold levels of oversold/overbought and bull/bear zones as probable Price Support and Resistance levels
Support & Resistance Levels , the main aim of the study. Level calculations are based on Relative Strength Index (RSI) ...
This oscillator is made of three components, all derived from the SuperTrend indicator. This approach allows the user to easily determine overbought/sold zones, identify whether a retracement is present or if the price is ranging or trending. It also allows for the anticipation of the potential price cross with the SuperTrend.
We provide additional information...
RSI with Self-Adjusting Linear Regression Bands (Expo) makes use of RSI and Linear Regression to create an RSI that follows the current trend. The indicator has an upper and lower self-adjusting Linear Regression Band that act as RSI boundaries.
HOW TO USE
The indicator can be used in multiple ways, for instance, to find overbought and oversold areas. Or to...
This is Screener script for Mean Reversion Channel Indicator
█ Description & How To Use
The screener works by scanning through up to 40 symbols and list down symbols that are currently within Overbought/Oversold Zone as defined by Mean Reversion Channel indicator.
The Overbought/Oversold Zone are further categorized and sorted by:
RSI is a momentum indicator, however most people seem to be using it to go against the momentum by trying to identify tops/bottoms using it. Its in my opinion the wrong way to be using it. It can be easily used for trend following which seems like a better use for it.
Uptrend - RSI > 60
Downtrend - RSI < 40
Sideways - RSI between 40 and 60
If however not...
This MACD is designed with unique oversold and overbought detections, which you may not sell or buy immedidately. You may need to watch the trend movements and decide to buy or sell on current or next goldcross and deadcross respectively.
Add oversold and overbought detections for MACD to locate proper entry point.
Relative Momentum Index indicator script. This indicator was originally developed by Roger Altman (Stocks & Commodities V. 11:2 (57-60)).
RMI with momentum period of 1 will be equal to an RSI when they have the same period and source price.
This is a better, cleaner version (in my opinion) of an part of an indicator I was using that was coded up by cI8DH. I reached out to him about cleaning up the code (things weren't working) for Pinescript v4, but he no longer seems to be active, so I thought I might take it upon myself to at least work out this portion of the indicator.
Much credit goes to him....
Example of how to apply and use Dynamic Zones with an indicator by injecting it's source into my adaptation of the original idea by Leo Zamansky, Ph.D., and David Stendahl.
• Load your desired oscillating indicator on your chart (CCI, RSI, etc).
• Load my "How To Use Dynamic Zones" indicator on your chart.
• In the "How To Use Dynamic Zones" indicator settings...
Here I have an improved version of the RSI that is similar to my "+ %B" indicator (that, an improved version of the %B).
This version of the RSI includes candle coloring for bullish or bearish bias (is the RSI above or below its median line?), as well as candle coloring for overbought and oversold areas. Additionally, there is an option for coloring...
This script simply colors the candles based on the defined "overbought" and "oversold" RSI-levels set in the input section of the indicator.
If the price is below the oversold level, the candle is colored in yellow.
If the price is above the overbought level, the candle is colored in aqua.
If the price moves back between both levels, no color will be...
