white candle and black candle.
1. White candle
with 4 oversold signal case with white candle tells us it is almost reached real bottom and try to rebound. In this case, I put vivid color (no transparency) on the candle. And all 4 signal case, I put text on "OverSold". It will not happen frequently. Then 2 approaches can be made.
(a) short term approach
You can buy on this time. and you set stop loss with open price. This is mainly aimed for technical rebound.
(b) long term approach
You can accumulate based on your budget with 5 times dividing. At that day might not be the very bottom but those period will most probably real bottom. You can put more weight on latter buy. Let say, 1 : 1.25 : 1.5 : 1.75 : 2.5. So for example, if you have $8,000 to investigate then, buy $1,000 and then $1,250, $1,500, accordingly. If price rebound then don't adding weight on accumulation but with the first amount that you buy(i.e., $1,000 with above example). With this approach, you will not have much stress and you will get profit well. If this is grand bottom case, then you can HODL this long term. What you needs is stick to the plan. :)
with 3 signals the color is less vivid, 2 signals is much less vivid, accordingly.
2. Black candle
The approaches are opposite to above. The signal will tells us for 4 overBuy signals, then vivid blue candle will be shown. Our strategy is distribute to sell. Please do not sell in one shot. As Newton said, "I can calculate the motions of the heavenly bodies, but not the madness of the people". Strong buy phase, we don't know how far will it go. But indicators will tell us it is quite overSold situation. So what I can suggest you is sell it 10% to 20% on resistance price, and put 50% of lower than certain support price. Remember, accumulation and distribution will always better than one shot trading if you want to survive long time on this war field.

Trading Range FinderWhat is it?
This indicator is a visual representation of the ADX indicator that shows where the areas of weak trends are. Anything shaded in a gray background implicates that the chosen market is experiencing a weak trend.
These areas of weak trends are seen typically when ADX drops below 20-25 but this script is customizable to change where you want that threshold.
Why did I make it?
I made this indicator to be used in combination with other trading indicators to eventually be used to identify when a market is range-bound/sideways.
Since momentum-based indicators can be "thrown off" in sideways market conditions, I will be using this visual indicator to identify when it is best to filter out a trade signal in a momentum-based strategy.

Suggested Uses
• MarketGod will inevitably produce false positives. We've taken steps to reduce this but we highly suggest you add this as a component of your strategy, not an end all be all

Adjusting the Filter Settings
This tool has a noise filter for users to adjust.
The filter is a percentage based calculation, between significant points in time. The filter ranges between .5 and 25, with .5 increments
• For lower TFs ( IE Intraday), keep the filter set between .5-5
• Mid-TFs (4H,6H,12H,1D), the recommended range is between 5.5-10
• Higher TFs (3D and Higher), look for approx 11-20 range
Customizations
Customize the indicator by adjusting the colors in the style pane. Additionally, users can change the plots into labels with the price of close added to them, or a few other label text options, listed in the 'inputs' panel, below the filter adjustments. Users can also opt to turn the strategy orders as well, as this version will have them printed.
Strategy Performance Interpretation
Its important to understand the only metric that should be relevant is not the win %, as many may initially think. Alternatively, the only metric that matters in the end is your take home profit... meaning the profit one fees and taxes are accounted for. In our example here, the % brought back since the beginning of our window of 2018 is around 47% for $10,000 initial capital and 10% traded per position. Many are ignorant to the take home profit aspect as they focus solely on the winning %, which is ultimately incorrect approach to trading as a whole. as long as we maintain +30% (our goal minimum), the outcome being in the green, is our goal.
[CP]Pivot Boss Candlestick Scanner - No Repainting This indicator is based on the high probability candlestick patterns described in the ’Secrets of a Pivot Boss’ book.
The indicator does not suffer from repainting.
I have kept this indicator open source, so that you can take this indicator and design a complete trading system around it.
Although the patterns have some statistical edge in the markets, blindly using them as Buy/Sell Indicators will certainly result in a heavy loss.
I like some of these setups more than others, and I have listed them in the order of my likeness.
The first one I like the most, the last one, I like the least.
The patterns are universal and work well in both intraday, daily and even larger timeframes.

GENERAL USER INPUTS:
These settings exist as the indicator uses ‘Labels’ to mark the patterns and Pine Script limits a maximum of 500 labels on a chart.
If you want to go back in the past and check how the indicator was doing, set the Start and End dates both and check the ’Use the date range above to mark the Candlestick Setups?’ option.
EXTREME REVERSAL SETUP:
This is by far my favorite setup in the lot. Classic Mean Reversion setup.
The logic, as explained in the book, goes like this,
1. The first bar of the pattern is about two times larger than the average size of the candles in the lookback period.
2. The body of the first bar of the pattern should encompass more than 50 percent of the bar’s total range, but usually not more than 85 percent.
3. The second bar of the pattern opposes the first.
The setup works extremely well in high beta stocks like Vedanta VEDL.
Feel free to play with the settings in order to better align this pattern with your favorite stock.

OUTSIDE REVERSAL SETUP:
My second favorite setup, it is quite good at catching intraday trends.
Here’s the logic,
1. The engulfing bar of a bullish outside reversal setup has a low that is below the prior bar’s low and a close that is above the prior bar’s high. Reverse the conditions for bearish outside reversal.
2. The engulfing bar is usually 5 to 25 percent larger than the size of the average bar in the lookback period.
Settings for this pattern simply reflect these conditions. Feel free to modify them as you wish.
The pattern is pretty powerful and will sometimes help you catch literally all the highs and lows of the market, as shown in the examples of Vedanta VEDL and RELIANCE stocks below.
As usual, this pattern is not PERFECT either.
DOJI REVERSAL SETUP:
Doji candles signify market indecision and this pattern tries to profit off these market conditions.
Logic:
1. The open and close price of the doji should fall within 10 percent of each other, as measured by the total range of the candlestick.
2. For a bullish doji, the high of the doji candlestick should be below the ten-period simple moving average. Vice-versa for bearish.
3. For a bullish doji setup, one of the two bars following the doji must close above the high of the doji. Vice-versa for bearish.
Feel free to modify the settings and optimize according to the stock you are trading.
Don't optimize too much :)
This pattern works brilliantly well on larger intraday timeframes, like 15m/30m/60m.
This pattern also has a higher propensity to give false indications than the two described above.
Doji reversal typically helps to catch larger trend reversals. Check out the examples below from RELIANCE and NIFTY charts,
Note that the RELIANCE chart below is the same as shown for the Outside Reversal Setup above, notice the confluence of Outside
Reversal and Doji Reversal on the 31st August.
Confluence of patterns usually increases the probability of success.

WICK REVERSAL SETUP:
This pattern tries to capture candlesticks with large wick sizes, as they often indicate trend reversal when coupled with significant support and resistance levels.
Logic:
1. The body is used to determine the size of the reversal wick. A wick that is between 2.5 to 3.5 times larger than the size of the body is ideal.
2. For a bullish reversal wick to exist, the close of the bar should fall within the top 35 percent of the overall range of the candle.
3. For a bearish reversal wick to exist, the close of the bar should fall within the bottom 35 percent of the overall range of the candle.
This pattern must always be coupled with important support resistance levels, else there will be a lot of false signals.
The chart below is the same NIFTY chart as above with the Wick Reversal candles marked as well.
You can see that there are a lot of false signals, but the price also indicates ’pausing’ at important levels by printing a wick reversal setup.
You can use this information to your advantage when riding a trend.
FINAL WORDS:
Settings for various patterns simply reflect the logic described.
You will probably need to tweak and optimize the pattern settings for the stock that you are trading.
Higher Beta/Higher Volatility stocks are a great choice for these patterns.
Using these patterns at critical support and resistance levels will result in dramatically high accuracy.
Be creative and try to develop a proper system around this indicator, with rules for position sizing, stop loss etc.
You do not have to trade all the patterns. Even trading just one pattern with a proper system is good enough.

VPSV (pine) is one of the rare features that draws lines/figures BETWEEN bars
It doesn't run on Pine script, which makes it possible to do such things.
I wanted to have something similar while a restriction of Pine script is the impossibility to draw between bars, the only way I could think of is by using line width
In this script the higher timeframe is started with several lines (left) and a box, this box goes further until the higher timeframe ends.
During the creation of the box, each candle (lower timeframe) in this box (higher timeframe - period) is checked for position and volume, the volume is added to the left line, so when you see a thicker line, this means at that level there is more volume traded.
One of the big differences with other volume profiles is that many look back to a previous period, here when a period starts, the lines collect data - volume until the period ends, it is especially very visible in very low TF's (seconds)
This is my first script with array.new_line() - array.new_box(), which is a very nice Pine feature!

Gap RiderThis Indicator allows you to make statistics on the performance of any underlying on the days in which an opening gap occurs.
Specifically, the indicator was designed for "0 dte" options trades. In fact, it is possible to find parameters that give a good statistical advantage by opening a spread in the direction of the gap, creating a trade that has a risk-return ratio of 1: 1.
The indicator shows flags on the graph (green in case of gap up, red in case of gap down) and colored boxes (green in case the stock closed in the direction of the gap, red in case the stock closed in the opposite direction to the gap, yellow in the event that the stock closed at a distance that did not allow the spread in options to close in maximum loss or maximum profit, and therefore in breakeven)
The statistics panel, on the other hand, contains all the information necessary to search for parameters that give the trader a good statistical advantage.
In the settings you can filter the days of the week, only gap up or only gap down, ATR thresholds (volatility), points or minimum percentage for which a gap is taken into account, measure of the breakeven (which for options traders should represent the half the width of the spread to open), large gaps filter that takes into consideration only gaps that open out of range compared to the previous session. The Lookback parameter of course is used to set how many bars to take into account for the statistics.
Parameters and recommended strategy:
TODAY 31/08/2021 - Lookback 500 bars (2 years)
UNDERLYING: SPX
FILTERS: only Monday and Wednesday, only gap up, only gap> 0.01%
STRATEGY: exactly at opening, cover an ATM spread in the direction of the gap (example: gap up, I open a long call spread) that has the opening price as a break even, with a risk-return ratio of 1: 1 and leave it open until closing session, or set take profit at 90-95%. It is advisable to take into consideration the SPX statistics but to operate on the ES future so as to be able to open the spread a couple of minutes before the opening of the cash session and prevent the trade from "running away" due to too sudden movements of the opening. .
RESULTS:

Max drawdown 3 trades
So assuming a spread on ES 10 points wide, each trade would gain or lose $ 250, applying the described strategy we would have in two years, investing only $ 250, a profit of $ 12500, with a max drawdown of $ 750. We would therefore have a profit of 5000%, or rather 2500% per year on the invested capital, with a drawdown of a much lower proportion of the profit ($ 750 compared to $ 6250 of annual profit).
The strategy is infinitely scalable by increasing the options contracts used and the impact of the commissions is almost zero.
MONEY MANAGEMENT: Example on a 50K account, with a spread that earns or loses $ 500, in two years it earns $ 25,000, therefore about 12500 per year, with a max drawdown of $ 1500, therefore 25% per year on the ENTIRE ACCOUNT with a maximum drawdown of 3%.
Note: the test was performed without a break even parameter, so the actual result will be more moderate, but of the same explosive nature.

DMI Swings (by Coinrule)The Directional Movement Index is a handy indicator that helps catch the direction in which the price of an asset is moving. It compares the prior highs and lows to draw three lines:
Positive directional line (+DI)
Negative directional line (-DI)
Average direction index (ADX)
DMI is simple to interpret. When +DI > - DI, it means the price is trending up. On the other hand, when -DI > +DI, the trend is weak or moving on the downside.
The ADX does not give an indication about the direction but about the strength of the trend.
Typically values of ADX above 25 mean that the trend is steeply moving up or down, based on the -DI and +D positioning. This script aims to capture swings in the DMI, and thus, in the trend of the asset, using a contrarian approach.

Trading on high values of ADX, the strategy tries to spot extremely oversold and overbought conditions. Values of ADX above 45 may suggest that the trend has overextended and is may be about to reverse.
Our backtests suggest that this script performs well for very short-term scalping strategies on low time frames, such as the 1-minute.
The script considers a 0.1% trading fee to make results more realistic to those you can expect from live market conditions. So realistically, live results should be similar to backtested results.

Usage:
The inputs define the trend and the volatility stop.
Trend:
The trend is defined by a moving average crossover. When the short
(or fast) moving average is above the long (slow) moving average, the
trend is up. Otherwise, the trend is down. The inputs are:
long: the number of periods in the long/slow moving average.
short: the number of periods in the short/fast moving average.
The slow moving average is shown in various colors (see explanation
below. The fast moving average is a faint blue.
Volatility stop:
The volatility stop has two modes, percentage and rank. The percentage
stop is given in terms of annualized volatility. The rank stop is given
in terms of percentile.
stop_pct and stop_rank are initialized with "-1". You need to set one of
these to the values you want after adding the indicator to your chart.
This is the only setting that requires your input.
mode: choose "rank" for a rank stop, "percentage" for a percentage stop.
vol_window: the number of periods in the historical volatility
calculation. e.g. "30" means the volatility will be a weighted
average of the previous 30 periods. applies to both types of stop.
stop_pct: the volatility limit, annualized. for example, "50" means
that the trend will not be followed when historical volatility rises
above 50%.
stop_rank: the trend will not be followed when the volatility is in the
N-th percentile. for example, "75" means the trend will not be
followed when the current historical volatility is greater than 75%
of previous volatilities.
rank_window: the number of periods in the rank percentile calculation.
for example, if rank_window is "252" and "stop_rank" is "80", the
trend will not be followed when current historical volatility is
greater than 80% of the previous 252 historical volatilities.
Outputs:
The outputs include moving averages, to visually identify the trend,
a volatility table, and a performance table.
Moving averages:
The slow moving average is colored green in an uptrend, red in a
downtrend, and black when the volatility stop is in place.
Volatility table:
The volatility table gives the current historical volatility, annualized
and expressed as a whole number percentage. E.g. "65" means the
instrument's one standard deviation annual move is 65% of its price.
The current rank is expressed, also as a whole number percentage. E.g.
"15" means the current volatility is greater than 15% of previous
volatilities. For convenience, the volatilities corresponding to the
0, 25, 50, 75, and 100th percentiles are also shown.
Performance table:
The performance table shows the current strategy's performance versus
buy-and-hold. If the trend is up, the instrument's return for that
period is added to the strategy's return, because the strategy is long.
If the trend is down, the negative return is added, because the strategy
is short. If the volatility stop is in (the slow moving average is
black), that period's return is excluded from the strategy returns.
Every period's return is added to the buy-and-hold returns.
The table shows the average return, the standard deviation of returns,
and the sharpe ratio (average return / standard deviation of returns).
All figures are expressed as per-period, whole number percentages.
For exmaple, "0.1" in the mean column on a daily chart means a
0.1% daily return.
The number of periods (samples) for each strategy is also shown.
vol_rangesThis script shows three measures of volatility:
historical (hv): realized volatility of the recent past
median (mv): a long run average of realized volatility
implied (iv): a user-defined volatility
Historical and median volatility are based on the EWMA, rather than standard deviation, method of calculating volatility. Since Tradingview's built in ema function uses a window, the "window" parameter determines how much historical data is used to calculate these volatility measures. E.g. 30 on a daily chart means the previous 30 days.
The plots above and below historical candles show past projections based on these measures. The "periods to expiration" dictates how far the projection extends. At 30 periods to expiration (default), the plot will indicate the one standard deviation range from 30 periods ago. This is calculated by multiplying the volatility measure by the square root of time. For example, if the historical volatility (hv) was 20% and the window is 30, then the plot is drawn over: close * 1.2 * sqrt(30/252).
At the most recent candle, this same calculation is simply drawn as a line projecting into the future.
This script is intended to be used with a particular options contract in mind. For example, if the option expires in 15 days and has an implied volatility of 25%, choose 15 for the window and 25 for the implied volatility options. The ranges drawn will reflect the two standard deviation range both in the future (lines) and at any point in the past (plots) for HV (blue), MV (red), and IV (grey).

Moving Average Band Width [CC]The Moving Average Band Width was created by Vitali Apirine (Stocks and Commodities Aug 2021 pg 25) and this is of course an extension based on my previous Moving Average Bands script. For those of you that aren't aware, the Band Width indicator is an indicator that tells you how close the upper and lower bands are to each other which is a great determination of how volatility is increasing or decreasing. This acts as both a trend indicator and a volatility indicator. I have included strong buy and sell signals in addition to normal ones so stronger signals are darker in color and normal ones are lighter. A great buy signal is when you are in an uptrend (so the line is green already) and the indicator line is moving up which means strong underlying volatility.

Stochastic & RSIThis script is a simple extension of the Built-In Stochastic RSI that also plots the RSI and prints the values of ATR and ADX of the last bar of the current timeframe to a small table in the corner.
The script can be used to define the entry for a trade when the stochastics crossed and RSI is below or above 0.50 (for going long or short).

I like to use the Stochastics and RSI indicators for pullback strategies, and with this inidcator you dont have to add both indicators to your setup. The ATR can be used to define the value of your stop-loss and the ADX (e.g. > 25) give you a hint for the strength of the current trend.

Trend Type Indicator by BobRivera990Usage:
The purpose of this indicator is to programmatically determine the type of price trend using technical analysis tools.
You can do a quick check on the asset’s higher and lower time frames. For example, if you are trading on an H1 chart, you can check the m5 chart to ensure that the trend is in the same direction and similarly check the H4 chart to ensure that the higher time frame price is also moving in the same direction.
If multiple time frame charts confirm a similar trend, then it is considered a very strong trend and ideal for Trend trading.
Remarks:
By default, the last status is related to 8 periods before the latest closing price.
Related definitions:
The three basic types of trends are up, down, and sideways.
1. Uptrend
An uptrend describes the price movement of a financial asset when the overall direction is upward. The uptrend is composed of higher swing lows and higher swing highs.
Some market participants ("long" trend traders) only choose to trade during uptrends.
2. Downtrend
A downtrend refers to the price action of a security that moves lower in price as it fluctuates over time.
The downtrend is composed of lower swing lows and lower swing highs.
3. Sideways
A sideways trend is the horizontal price movement that occurs when the forces of supply and demand are nearly equal. This typically occurs during a period of consolidation before the price continues a prior trend or reverses into a new trend.
How it works:
Step 1: Sideways Trend Detection
In this step we want to distinguish the sideways trend from uptrend and downtrend. For this purpose, we use two common technical analysis tools: ATR and ADX
1. Average True Range (ATR)
The average true range (ATR) is a technical analysis indicator that measures market volatility.
We also use a 20-period moving average of the ATR.
When the ATR is below the average of its last 20-periods, it means that the rate of price volatility has decreased and we conclude that the current trend is sideways
2. Average Directional Index (ADX)
The average directional index (ADX) is a technical analysis indicator used by some traders to determine the strength of a trend.
The trend has strength when ADX is above 25.
So when the ADX is less than or equal to 25, there is no strong trend, and we conclude that the current type of trend is sideways.
Step 2: Detect uptrend from downtrend
If it turns out that the current price trend is not sideways, then it is either uptrend or downtrend.
For this purpose, we use plus and minus directional Indicators (+ DI & -DI).
A general interpretation would be that during a strong trend, when +DI is higher than -DI, it is an uptrend. When -DI is higher than +DI, it is a downtrend.

MA Crossover Strategy with MA Turning Point Exits + ADX filterThis strategy is based upon @rthomson's MA Crossover Strategy with MA Turning Point Exits.
I just added an ability to filter out entries when ADX < 20. In fact you have a choice to set this ADX threshold value.
In a sideways market, the MA crossovers end up in yielding entry trades with losses. ADX value around 20 to 25 indicates a sideway market. By introducing ADX threshold, we are trying to prevent potential loss making entries.

When 300 cloud and 25 cloud are both bullish or bearish - look to take positions in that direction

RedK Trader Pressure Index (TPX v1.0) Quick Summary

The RedK Trader Pressure Index (REDK_TPX) analyzes the changes in price bars to give the trader a clear visual insight that represents the ongoing fight between the bulls (buyers) and bears (sellers) in the market - to determine who is in control of the price action, which in turn can be helpful in a trader’s decision about how the price action may be unfolding, what type of trade and positions to take (or to close) and when is the ideal time to action.
How the TPX calculation works

The TPX uses a simple logic and that’s one of the things I like about it – there is no complex calculation or magic stuff - and the core idea makes sense to me, as well as being one of the ways I needed to analyze my price charts.
The underlying assumption is that the buyers and sellers are competing for control of the market at all time.
- if there’s more buyers than sellers in the market, and if the buyers’ (or bull) pressure is stronger (than the sellers’), they will be able pull the “price range” up – and that means that on the price chart we can expect to see an increase in value in both the “high” and the “low” of the next price bar.
- Similarly, if there’s more sellers than buyers in the market, and if the sellers’ (or bear) pressure is stronger (than the buyers’), they will be able push the “price range” down – on the price chart we can expect to see a decrease in value in both the “high” and the “low” of the next price bar.
So, we will use the change in high and low price, between 2 consecutive price bars, as a proxy for the bull and bear “pressures” – a (weighted) moving average of these “pressure” values are then calculated along with the “Net Pressure” – the final results are plotted.
The importance of the "Control Level"

As in similar price-action based indicators, there’s a certain threshold or “control level”, above which, the pressure becomes “dominant”
when the bull or bear pressure is above that threshold, they will dominate and control the price move – this level can be found around the 25 or 30. I have included the ability to plot and adjust that control level in the TPX’s settings – and I also show some examples in the chart above (weekly chart for MSFT)

Using the Trader Pressure Index (TPX) in trading

TPX can be valuable in showing well-supported (up or down) price moves that may lead to a strong trend that we can ride (when the pressure value is above the control level) - see exampled above
TPX is also valuable in showing when there’s “lack of interest” from the buyers or the sellers (or both) – which is great in exploring chub or no-trade zones - so basically when to avoid trading.
As usual, it's always recommended to use these types of "price action insight" indicators in conjunction with other trend and momentum indicators (moving averages, MACD..etc), so the insight we gain from them can be properly placed within the broader "context" - and to receive additional confimtion signals to support the trading decision.
I will come back later to post something about how the TPX differs from my recently-posted Strength of Movement (SoM) because they wok completely differently but can be used together with great synergy – and also how the TPX compares to the classic DMI/ADX which uses a similar concept.

Three moving average strategies
If the short term (Default 7) moving average cuts the medium term (default 25) moving average, BUY. Conversely, it generates the SELL signal. If the long term (Default 99) moving average cuts its short term moving average, Quick SELL. Conversely, it can be interpreted as Fast SELL. You can change the moving average and the number of days as you wish, and you can trade in the short or long term. I hope it was useful.
Annualised Price Volatility % CRYPTO dailiesThis is the correct annualisation for crypto currencies (continually traded). It is the rolling 1m vol using 30 days (instead of 25) and an annualisation factor of sqrt(365) not sqrt(252).
SPY Ninja

Ultimate Multi-MACD - Early Warnings + Main TrendThis is a set of a bunch of moving averages. Unique, huh? Right. Awesome. Dope.
So, what's cool about this set, is its usability as not just one MACD, but a pair of MACDs specifically tuned to keep you hard. Some of you probably notice already just looking at the available MAs and lengths - there are some common pairs here. But what do you get when you combine all these common pairs that share bases? You get both short and long term plays out of it. The thing MACDs aren't supposed to do. I imagine it would be hard to make a backtestable/bottable script version of this, because the main thing is you have to use your gut a little bit in determing when to take a short term play and when to keep to the long term plays.
In this set, you get 3 TEMAs, 2 VWMAs, 2 SMAs, and 2 ALMAs. Yeah. That's almost TOO phat. I know. Whatever.
The two purple/pink lines are your 25 VWMA and 50 ALMA slow lines. These will be your main slow lines. They're usually close but move around a decent bit and if you want you could make buys and sales using the Alma crossing above the VWMA as a buy and sell crossing under.
Then you have a THIRD potential slow line on your dark green 50 TEMA. You generally use either the 13 or 21 TEMA crossing up as buy and down as sell. The signal TEMAs are bright green 13 and yellow 21.
Next you have all your Fast signal MAs! A peachy 10 VWMA, 13 green TEMA, 21 yellow TEMA, 10 teal/bright blue ALMA and last but not least, two pale SMAs at 5 and 10. The 5 could even be used as a signal against the 10 if you really want. There are countless options for buy and sell signals. Hide and show the ones that work the best on the chart you're trading on. Different ones will work different times. Why not see which ones are working BEST out of all the best ones, though?
