The system uses 1 hour and 15 min timeframe data. Signals coming from 15 min Inverse Fisher Transform of SMI and stochastic RSI are confirmed by 1 hour Inverse Fisher Transform SMI, according to the following rules:
long cond.: 15 min IFTSMI crosses ABOVE -0.5 or SRSI k-line crosses ABOVE 50 while 1-hour IFTSMI is already ABOVE -0.5
short cond.:15 min IFTSMI...
Interesting performance for Super Trend strategy for XBTUSD 1m chart.
Params: ST Mult: 2, ST Period 14.
Performance: 144% profit, 1988 trades, only 41% prof, 2.04% dd , 2.51 Sharpe.
On its own, it might be not a very good strategy, but the big amount of trades allows you to add more filters and improve it.
Past performance does not guarantee...
The Demand Oscillator was created by James Sibbet (Stocks & Commodities June, 1986) and I changed his formula quite a bit to what you see on here. If it rises above the signal then buy or if not then sell. This is my custom version of his formula so let me know what you think.
Let me know if you would like to see me write any other scripts!
This is an upgraded version of my MACD_trendtrader indicator.
- Histogram slope changes colors according to the direction of the slope.
- Panel that displays volatility of the asset. The volatility is measured from 0 to 100. Zero being the lowest and 100 the highest volatility. I also included different text colors for a certain volatility value (white=...
The Sell Gravitation Index was created by Howard Wang and was published in Stocks & Commodities V37:02 (36-38)
This indicator is similar to the relative strength index but the big difference is that this indicator gives early buy and sell signals which I find very helpful. Buy when it rises above its signal line and sell when it falls below its signal line.
This is a modified version of the Chaikin Oscillator. The idea is to find accumulation and distribution phases in the market to identify when institutions are building their positions.
It uses acc/dist but as an oscillator, just like the Chaikin Oscillator, but not to find overbought or oversold areas, but to find trends. It functions like a MACD. It takes a fast...
Trend Alert indicator based on Long term (daily) en Mid term (4h) timeframes so you can enter a trade in direction of the trend at the Short term (1h) timeframe in direction of trend. You can configure the LongTerm en MidTerm timeframe to your liking. Method by Jospeh Nemeth www.youtube.com
What is this? : This script prints simple Heikin Ashi candles
Why this script? : This script has a specific visual trait, that makes it looks like a clean black line on the 1min timeframe when completely zoomed out. Because of this the chart looks clear instead of messy, even on max field of view....
The script determines and plots entry points for 1 hour S&P index using 8/34 emas and stochastic RSI. When 8 ema above/below 34 ema up/down crosses of stochastic RSI are considered as long/short entries. Entry prices should be above/below high/low of the signal bars accordingly. Ichimoku cloud can be used as extra filtering.
**THIS VERSION ALLOWS THE USER TO SELECT WHICH MOVING AVERAGE THEY WOULD LIKE TO UTILIZE FOR THE SIGNAL LINE**
Chart shows two different options of many. Top option is the default settings and bottom option is a different moving average with no other changes.
Time Segmented Volume was developed by Worden Brothers, Inc to be a leading indicator by comparing...
This indicator consists of a fast and slow EMA (default lengths are 50 and 9 periods) and an upper and lower ATR band. When combined, this combination gives traders an accurate picture of both trend strength and direction.
Users can modify the lengths of the fast and slow EMA , as well as the multipliers and length for the upper and lower ATR bands.
This is my first custom indicator that I created as a medium to long term trend indicator. Buy if it is above 0 and sell if it is below 0.
Since this is my first unique indicator, I would love to hear your feedback! Please let me know if you would like to see any other scripts!
Trend trading strategies filtered by the Market Meanness Index.
This is a port of the experiment described at
The indicator paints the bar colours based on the average open and average close for past N days.
if average close is above average open, the bars are coloured green, otherwise they are coloured red
It can be used as a general trend filter on weekly, daily bars. even on intraday timeframes, this would work well and give a sense of the current trend direction.
This is my modified macd indicator. It uses moving averages to determine the trend of the market. It is best used on lower time frames such as 5min and 15min. I found it useful especially with Forex pairs and also traditional markets.
This indicator will help you get in at a pullback in a trending market.
RED background tells you the trend is down. A possible...
