3LS | 3 Line Strike Strategy [Kintsugi Trading]What is the 3LS | 3 Line Strike Strategy?
Incorporating the 3 Line Strike candlestick pattern into our strategy was inspired by Arty at The Moving Average and the amazing traders at TheTrdFloor .
The Three Line Strike is a trend continuation candlestick pattern consisting of four candles. Depending on their heights and collocation, a bullish or a bearish trend continuation can be predicted.
In a symphony of trend analysis, price action, and volume we can find and place high-probability trades with the 3LS Strategy.
How to use it!
----- First, start by choosing a Stop-Loss Strategy, Stop PIP Size, and Risk/Reward Ratio -----
- Stop-Loss Strategy
Fixed PIP Size – This uses the top/bottom of the indicator candle and places a TP based on the chosen Risk:Reward ratio.
ATR Trail (No set Target Profit, only uses ATR Stop)
ATR Trail-Stop (Has set Target Profit, however, stop is based on ATR inputs)
**If you choose an ATR Stop-Loss Strategy - input the desired ATR period and Multiple you would like the stop to be calculated at**
**ATR Stop-Loss Strategies have a unique alert setup for Auto-Trading. See Auto-Trading Section**
- Risk/Reward Ratio = If you have a .5 risk/reward, it means you are risking $100 to make $50.
- Additional Stop PIP Size = Number of PIPs over the default stop location of the top or bottom of the indicator candle.
----- Next, we set the Session Filter -----
Set the Timezone and Trade Session you desire. If no specific session is desired, simply set the Trade Session to 00:00 - 00:00.
----- Next, we set the Moving Average Cloud Fill -----
Enter the Fast and Slow Moving Average Length used to calculate trend direction:
MA Period Fast
MA Period Slow
These inputs will determine whether the strategy looks for Long or Short positions.
----- Next, we set the VSA – Volume Spread Analysis Settings -----
Check the box to show the indicator at the bottom of the chart if desired.
This is just a different visual output of the VSA | Volume Spread Analysis indicator available for free under the community indicators tab. You can add that indicator to your chart and see the same output in candle format.
In combination with the Moving Average Cloud, the Volume Spread Analysis will help us determine when to take a trade and in what direction.
The strategy is essentially looking for small reversals going against the overall trend and placing a trade once that reversal ends and the price moves back in the direction of the overall trend.
The 3LS Strategy utilizes confirmation between trend, volume, and price action to place high probability trades.
The VSA is completely customizable by:
Moving Average Length
MA-1 Multiplier
MA-2 Multiplier
MA-3 Multiplier
Check out the VSA | Volume Spread Analysis indicator in the community scripts section under the indicators tab to use this awesome resource on other strategies.
----- Next, we have the option to view the automated KT Bull/Bear Signals -----
Check the boxes to show the buy-sell signal on the chart if desired.
----- Next, we set the risk we want to use if Auto Trading the strategy -----
I always suggest using no more than 1-3% of your total account balance per trade. Remember, if you have multiple strategies triggering per day with each using 1%, the total percent at risk will be much larger.
For Example – if you have 10 strategies each risking 1% your total risk is 10% of your account, not 1%! Be mindful to only use 1-3% of your total account balance across all strategies, not just each individual one.
----- Finally, we backtest our ideas -----
After using the 'Strategy Tester' tab on TradingView to thoroughly backtest your predictions you are ready to take it to the next level - Automated Trading!
This was my whole reason for creating the script. If you work a full-time job, live in a time zone that is hard to trade, or just don't have the patience, this will be a game-changer for you as it was for me.
Auto-Trading
When it comes to auto-trading this strategy I have included two options in the script that utilize the alert messages generated by TradingView.
*Note: Please trade on a demo account until you feel comfortable enough to use real money, and then please stick to 1%-2% of your total account value in risk per trade.*

Volume
Trend trader + STC [CHFIF] - CV This script is my first strategy script coupling the Trend trader (indicator developed by Andrew Abraham in the Trading the Trend article of TASC September 1998.) and Schaff Trend Cycle . The STC indicator is widely used to identify trends and their directions. It is sometimes used by traders to predict trend reversals as well. Based on the movement of the Schaff Trend Cycle , buy or sell signals are generated, which are then used by traders to initiate either long or short positions.
Around I built a user interface to help you in creating a customized strategy to your need.
My idea behind doing this was to make customizable parameters and back testing easier than manually with a lot of flexibility and options. More possibility we have, more solutions we find right? So I started this script few weeks ago to be my first script (second in reality, but first to be published.)
Strategy it self is made out of 2 simple step:
1→ STC gives a Buy/Sell signal.
2→Price is closing above the TT (Buy) or below (Sell) and the signal is the same as given by the STC .
To complete your strategy in order to reach the best result, I added few options:
→ Money management: Define the type of risk you want to take (entry risk will always risk the same percentage of your portfolio disregarding the size of the SL, Fix amount of money, fix amount of the capital (portfolio). NOTE: Margin is not coded yet, target is to show liquidation price. Please keep an eye on the releases to know when it is released.
→ Stop loss and Take profit management: Define the type of target you want to use (ATR, fixed percentage, pivots points) and even customise different take profit level or activate the trailing. Each type of target is customizable via the menu
→ Moving average: You can also complete the strategy using different moving average. To draw it tick the box on the left, to use it in the calculation of the result, tick the box "Price>MA" in front of the needed EMA . You can select different type of MA ( SMA , EMA , DEMA , TEMA , RMA, HMA , WMA , VWAP , VWMA , etc...)
→ RSI: 4 possible approach to use the RSI to complement the strategy:
• OB/OS => short position will be taken only if RSI goes under the lower limit. Long if the RSI goes above the limit. Ticking confirmation will wait to cross back the limit to validate the condition
• Rev OB/OS => Short will be taken if RSI is below lower limit and stays below. Long will be taken if RSI is above upper limit and stays above.
• MA dominance => RSI has to be above MA for long, below for short. Confirmation box ticked requires 2 bars with the RSI on a side to validate signal.
• MA Dominance + limit => It is a combination of the requirement of the provious option and also Rev. OB/OS
→ Volume confirmation => This will consider the volume MA for entry confirmation. The volume will have to be above the MA define by the value entered in the field.
→ Waddah Attar explosion indicator can also be used as a filter for entries in this way:
• Explosion line > dead zone to validate entries
• Trend > dead zone to validate entry
• Both > dead zone is a compound of both rules above to get entry confirmation
→ ADX can also be used as a filter. I added 2 Threshold in order to have a minimum level of acceptance for valid entry but also a maximum level.
When your strategy is setup, you can setup alerts and I would recommend to setup the date range before doing the alerts. Why? Simply because the script do not cover pyramiding and will give a signal only if a trade is not ongoing.
In setting up the sessions at which you would want to trade, no signal within those range can be missed. You can setup 2 sessions, the days and also the global range of backtesting.
Smart Money - Oscillator and Volume StrategyOverview
This is a no-repaint strategy that is highly optimized for BINANCE:ETHUSDTPERP 30m, normal candles. It is a long/short strategy that is based on CMF, ADX/DMI, Keltner Channels, and other oscillators to identify smart money.
The overall idea of the strategy is to effectively capture the beginnings and ends of trends in price action, and go long/short accordingly. To achieve this, potential entry points are identified with various oscillators and these are then filtered using a variety of moving averages and strength/momentum indicators.
Short and sell inflections are found when ADX, DMI, and/or CMF oscillate below a specified threshold, and Keltner Channels are also used to indicate potential trades.
The indicator will continue to be updated and optimized for current and future market conditions.
If purchased, access to the indicator will be available within 24 hours.

Miyagi (VWAP) + DCA BacktestVWAP has been the main condition for entry for our trading community when using the Wick Hunter bot for quite some time now; however using VWAP alone can lead to poor entries and bags.
Miyagi adds filtering conditions which can then be used to improve entries as opposed to simply using VWAP alone.
Miyagi: The attempt at mastering something for the best results.
Miyagi indicators combine multiple trigger conditions and place them in one toolbox for traders to easily use, produce alerts, backtest, reduce risk and increase profitability.
Miyagi (VWAP) + DCA Backtest allows you to backtest your VWAP settings across each pair.
VWAP + Backtest starts with the user selectable take profit and stoploss, both in percent.
Backtesting can be done in any trend direction: Long, Short, or both.
First we start with the VWAP Settings for entry.
The VWAP Settings are based off the original VWAP Indicator found here:
VWAP Timeframe can be adjusted to chart timeframe, or to another timeframe of choice.
VWAP Period is adjustable and should be set to your current period setting.
VWAP Lower Line (Long) is the Percentage Below VWAP = Long Entry.
VWAP Upper Line (Short) is the Percentage Above VWAP = Short Entry.
Once your VWAP Settings are now configured for your current trading settings, you can move onto the DCA and Backtest Settings.
Select DCA to allow and backtest DCA.
Equity %: allows you to select what percent of Equity you will use.
Leverage: Set the leverage you will trade at, from 1-100X.
DCA Start %: This is the percent that your DCA Starts at, in % away from initial entry.
Entry Order Size %: This is the entry order size, in percent of your account, that is used for entry.
DCA Order Size %: This is the DCA order size, in percent of your account, that is used for the first DCA.
DCA Order Size Scale %: This is the DCA size scaling, in %, that is applied to all DCA's after the first.
DCA % from Avg: This is the % away from Average DCA setting.
Step Size Scale %: This is the step size scale setting in percent, that is placed away from your first DCA.
DCA Buy Count: How many DCAs in total that can be used.
Properties Tab includes generic backtest settings including capital amount, base currency, order size, commission, slippage and margin.
Happy Trading!
Customizable Non-Repainting HTF MACD MFI Scalper Bot Strategy v2Customizable Non-Repainting HTF MACD MFI Scalper Bot Strategy v2
This script was originally shared by Wunderbit as a free open source script for the community to work with. This is my second published iteration of this idea.
WHAT THIS SCRIPT DOES:
It is intended for use on an algorithmic bot trading platform but can be used for scalping and manual trading.
This strategy is based on the trend-following momentum indicator . It includes the Money Flow index as an additional point for entry.
This is a new and improved version geared for lower timeframes (15-5 minutes), but can be run on larger ones as well. I am testing it live as my high frequency trader.
HOW IT DOES IT:
It uses a combination of MACD and MFI indicators to create entry signals. Parameters for each indicator have been surfaced for user configurability.
Take profits are now trailing profits, and the stop loss is now fixed. Why? I found that the trailing stop loss with ATR in the previous version yields very good results for back tests but becomes very difficult to deploy live due to transaction fees. As you can see the average trade is a higher profit percentage than the previous version.
HOW IS MY VERSION ORIGINAL:
Now instead of using ATR stop loss, we have a fixed stop loss - counter intuitively to what some may believe this performs better in live trading scenarios since it gives the strategy room to move. I noticed that the ATR trailing stop was stopping out too fast and was eating away balance due to transaction fees.
The take profit on the other hand is now a trailing profit with a customizable deviation. This ensures that you can have a minimum profit you want to take in order to exit.
I have depracated the old ATR trailing stop as it became too confusing to have those as different options. I kept the old version for others that want to experiment with it. The source code still requires some cleanup, but its fully functional.
I added in a way to show RSI values and ATR values with a checkbox so that you can use the new an improved ATR Filter (and grab the right RSI values for the RSI filter). This will help to filter out times of very low volatility where we are unlikely to find a profitable trade. Use the "Show Data" checkbox to see what the values are on the indicator pane, then use those values to gauge what you want to filter out.
Both versions
Delayed Signals : The script has been refactored to use a time frame drop down. The higher time frame can be run on a faster chart (recommended on one minute chart for fastest signal confirmation and relay to algotrading platform.)
Repainting Issues : All indicators have been recoded to use the security function that checks to see if the current calculation is in realtime, if it is, then it uses the previous bar for calculation. If you are still experiencing repainting issues based on intended (or non intended use), please provide a report with screenshot and explanation so I can try to address.
Filtering : I have added to additional filters an ABOVE EMA Filter and a BELOW RSI Filter (both can be turned on and off)
Customizable Long and Close Messages : This allows someone to use the script for algorithmic trading without having to alter code. It also means you can use one indicator for all of your different alterts required for your bots.
HOW TO USE IT:
It is intended to be used in the 5-30 minute time frames, but you might be able to get a good configuration for higher time frames. I welcome feedback from other users on what they have found.
Find a pair with high volatility (example KUCOIN:ETH3LUSDT ) - I have found it works particularly well with 3L and 3S tokens for crypto. although it the limitation is that confrigurations I have found to work typically have low R/R ratio, but very high win rate and profit factor.
Ideally set one minute chart for bots, but you can use other charts for manual trading. The signal will be delayed by one bar but I have found configurations that still test well.
Select a time frame in configuration for your indicator calculations.
Select the strategy config for time frame (resolution). I like to use 5 and 15 minutes for scalping scenarios, but I am interested in hearing back from other community memebers.
Optimize your indicator without filters : customize your settings for MACD and MFI that are profitable with your chart and selected time frame calculation. Try different Take Profits (try about 2-5%) and stop loss (try about 5-8%). See if your back test is profitable and continue to optimize.
Use the Trend, RSI, ATR Filter to further refine your signals for entry. You will get less entries but you can increase your win ratio.
You can use the open and close messages for a platform integration, but I choose to set mine up on the destination platform and let the platform close it. With certain platforms you cannot be sure what your entry point actually was compared to Trading View due to slippage and timing, so I let the platform decide when it is actually profitable.
Limitations: this works rather well for short term, and does some good forward testing but back testing large data sets is a problem when switching from very small time frame to large time frame. For instance, finding a configuration that works on a one minute chart but then changing to a 1 hour chart means you lose some of your intra bar calclulations. There are some new features in pine script which might be able to address, this, but I have not had a chance to work on that issue.
SuperTrend Trapping Candle StrategyHello traders!
How this indicator works?
The main functionality of this indicator is to find entry based upon SuperTrend indicator. This indicator helps us to find trapping candle to enter into the market.
What is a trapping candle?
A trapping candle is a candle that shows strength in opposite direction to SuperTrend. This helps us to enter in a trade before the move start in the current trend's direction. There are two types of trapping candles signals I have added currently:
1. Volume is high than previous candle in the opposite direction.
2. 3 candles of opposite direction with decreasing volume .
How to enter in a trade in uptrend market?
SuperTrend shows a green signal
A green triangle formed below red candle
Enter into the trade when price is above red candle high
SL could be place below red candle or swing low if it is near
How to enter in a trade in downtrend market?
SuperTrend shows a red signal
A red triangle formed above green candle
Enter into the trade when price is below green candle low
SL could be place above green candle high or swing high if it is near
How to avoid to enter in a trade in sideways market?
You can follow price action strategies
Or you can follow some indicator to find sideways market
Indicator settings and how to change?
ATR Length - For SuperTrend, this is default value.
Factor - For SuperTrend, changed to 2 to provide fast signals.
Candle Height - For trapping candle price, default set to 0.003% of the current price.

HULL SUIT ,VORTEX,VOLUME OSC this strategy includes 3 free tradingview indicators
the 1st indicator is hull suit and the 2nd indicator is vortex and the final one is volume oscillator
for a long signal to be valid
the price must be above green hull suit line
, with new bullish cross on vortex , the blue line has to crossover the red line this would be anew signal to entr long position if volume oscillator above zero line , our stoploss must be under the recent lower low
and the risk to reward ratio will be 1.5
for a short signal to be valid , the price must be below red hull suit line
, with new cross on vortex , the red line has to crossover the blue line this would be anew signal to entr short position if volume oscillator above zero line ,
and lets see what happened to our trade
QQE MOD , RSI , VOLUME so this strategy includes 3 indicators
the 1st one is Q Q E mode on default sittings
the 2nd one is R S I with the following settings
R S I length from 14 to 40
and M A length from 14 to 150
the 3rd one is volume flow indicator with the following settings
max vol cutoff from 2.5 to 0.5
and signal length from 5 to 20
in long condition
for a long signal to be valid
we need to have a new blue histogram appeared on our q q e mode and the R S I purple line is above yellow moving average and finally the green line of the volume indicator is
above the orange line and both have to be above zero level
and once we have all these conditions fulfilled we can go ahead and take a long position
our stoploss must be under the recent lower low
and the risk to reward ratio will be 1.5
and lets see what happened to our trade
as we can see it hit the target
for a short signal to be valid
we need to have a new red histogram appeared on our q q e mode and the R S I purple line is below yellow moving average and finally the green line of the volume indicator is
below the orang line and both have to be below zero level
and once we have all these conditions fulfilled we can go ahead and take a short position .
our stoploss must be above the recent higher high
and the risk to reward ratio will be 1.5

// Version: R1.0
//Description of this addon - Script using several new conditions to give Long/short and SL levels which was not proposed in the Big Snapper strategy "Big Snapper Alerts R3.0"
//"
//This strategy is based on the use of the Big Snapper outputs from the JustUncleL script and the addition of several conditions to define filtered conditions selecting signal synchrones with a trend and a rise of the volatility.
//Also the strategy proposes to define proportional stop losses and dynamic Take profit using an RSI strategy.
// After delivering the temporary ong/short signal and ploting a green or purple signal, several conditions are defined to consider a Signal is Long or short.
//Let s take the long signal as example(this is the same process with the opposite values for a short).
//step 1 - Long Definition:
// Snapper long signal stored in the buffer variable Longbuffer to say that in a close future, we could have all conditions for a long
// Now we need some conditions to combine with it:
//the second one is to be over the Ma_medium(55)
//and because this is not selective enough, the third one is a Volatility indicator "Chaikin Volatility" indicator giving an indication about the volatility of the price compared to the 10 last values
// -> Using the volatility indicator gives the possibility to increase the potential rise if the volatility is higher compared to the last periods.
//With these 3 signals, we get a robust indication about a potential long signal which is then stored in the variable "Longe"
//Now we have a long signal and can give a long signal with its Stop Loss
// The Long Signal is automatically given as the 3 conditions above are satisfied.
// The Stop loss is a function of the last Candle sizes giving a stop below the 70% of the overall candle which can be assimilated to a Fibonacci level. Below this level it makes sense to stop the trade as the chance to recover the complete Candle is more than 60%
//Now we are in an open Long and can use all the mentioned Stop loss condition but still need a Take Profit condition
//The take profit condition is based on a RSI strategy consisting in taking profit as soon as the RSI come back from the overbought area (which is here defined as a rsi over 70) and reaching the 63.5 level to trigger the Take Profit
//This TP condition is only active when Long is active and when an entry value as been defined.
//Entry and SL level appreas as soon as a Long or short arrow signal does appears. The Take profit will be conidtioned to the RSI.
//The final step in the cycle is a reinitialization of all the values giving the possibility to detect and treat any long new signal coming from the Big Snapper signal.
Road To Dubai v.2.99.4ROAD TO DUBAI 2.99.4
Usueful for daily trading over all type of asset, from Stock to Crypto, Forex and Commodities. It works best with 5min to 1hr graphs, if you are a intraday trader.
This is not a simple mashup of indicators, because you can add them as your own.
This script is more like a tool to understand price action based on indicators position. Thanks to cross call based on MACD, RSI with EMA applied and few index realtime mapping, this tool will let you reduce time effort for graph analysis.
As extra feature it will let you to try different strategies all fully customizable.
I've tried my best to keep it readble, and easy to use.
STANDARD FEATURES
VWAP : Green/Red line. It will reset everyday at 00.00.
EMA80 : White Line
BLUELINES : Positive and negative overextend value from VWap. This is based on a range of bar and it will extend on the opposite side the lower or higher candle. Useful for understading where price can arrive, expecially if a spike will appear.
Those indicators are quite useful for understading trends, price positions and maximum price range.
RSI EMA10 OVERBOUGHT / OVERSOLD
Yellow arrow marks where RSI arrived at his Top or Bottom. If on different timeframes (5min, 30min and 60min) something similar happen area is filled with Red or Green.
This is base on EMA10 applied to RSI (I usually refer at it as Yellow Line on my indicator HighFreq Trader)
To find good values please try High Freq Trader 1.3
RSI EMA80 CALL
Red Cross or Green Square advice for a really potential inversion of trend. When a Silver bar appear, this means the same call was triggered on different Timeframe in the sametime.
This is based on EMA80 applied to RSI (I usually refer at it as Blue Line on my indicator HighFreq Trader).
To find good values please try High Freq Trader 1.3
MACD CALL
Based on MACD with standard settings. When triggered, a lime Triangle appears. Differents size based on timeframe (5min smaller, 60min bigger). If the same call is triggered on the same place a Lime Bar appear on the opposite side of trend (this is a graphical contents, bacause with all enabled, standard use, can be difficult to read signals).
In Menu Settings you will be able to set your best parameter for your asset.
MACD FIBONACCI EXTRA FEATURE
If you want you can enable a Fibonacci draw based on MACD. This works at his best (on my opinion) with 30min MACD
EXAMPLE
NATURAL GAS
In this chart 30min you can see all calls triggered for a Short. Yellow RSI Arrow, Red Cross, Macd Triangle and Colored Red, Lime and Silver Bars are all calling for Short.
In this way you can see in notime if this can be a perfect moment for take position
ORDER PLANNER
This feature will help you to understand a better way to place order, where Stop Loss and Take Profit could be place. It can be manual or Automatic (based on price position if above or below VWap)
VIX VXN DXY CALLS
If VIX, VXN is triggered a small Green Dot will appear. If both are in the same time a bigger Dot appear. Very useful to find trend inversion.
If DXY is triggered a Red Dot will appear (only on Daily Chart). Very Useful to understand trend inversion on whole market.
VOLUMES REMINDERS
Find if there was an High Volume traded (HV) or Low Volume Traded (LV) in the near past. Useful to understand if some tricky situation could happen (like a sudden sell, an accumulation or distribution)
Ranged Volume DCA Strategy - R3c0nTraderUpdate: Republishing this as Public Open-Source script.
Credits:
Thank you "EvoCrypto" for granting me permission to use "Ranged Volume" to create this strategy.
Thank you "junyou0424" for granting me permission to use "DCA Bot with SuperTrend Emulator" which I used for adding bot inputs, calculations, and strategy
What does this do?
This script is mainly used for backtesting a Ranged Volume strategy to see how a 3Commas bot would perform.
I created this script out of necessity and I wanted a way to test a 3Commas DCA bot with a strategy based on “Volume.”
I came across "EvoCrypto’s" "Ranged Volume" study and strategy in TradingView and I liked it. I wanted to configure it so it can be used for DCA bot backtesting. I used parts from "junyou0424’s" "DCA Bot with SuperTrend Emulator" to add the following:
1. The Start Time and End Time
2. Price deviation to open safety orders (%)
3. Target Take Profit (%)
4. Trailing deviation
5. Base Order and Safety Order
6. Safety order volume scale
7. Safety order step scale
8. Max safety orders
In addition to the above, I also added chart indicators for "Take Profit" as well as "Safety Order"
Pre-requisites:
You can use this script without a 3Commas account and see how 3Commas DCA Bot and Ranged Volume strategy would perform vs. a non-DCA strategy. However, I highly recommend signing up for their free account and going through their training. This would give you a base understanding on the settings you will see in this strategy and why you will need to know them.
That said these are the pre-requisites I suggest you have:
1. Base Knowledge of 3Commas DCA bots
2. Base knowledge of settings such as “Max safety trades count”, “safety order volume scale” and “safety order step scale”. If these are alien to you, I suggest you read up on these.
3. Knowledge of setting up a Single-pair 3Commas bot for receiving custom TradingView signal.
4. A paper-bot to test your ideas. (Do not use a real money bot until you have tested it sufficiently with a paper-bot. You alone are responsible for your results!)
5. Add the study I created called "R3c0nTrader’s Ranged Volume Study” which adds a separate chart in its own pane showing the volume spikes. It will also generate the “buy” signals for your bot. NOTE: The study also has the same color scheme as this strategy and having the colors in both the strategy and the study will make things easier to see. If you use EvoCrypto’s Ranged Volume Study instead, just keep in mind that the colors won’t match, and you will have to manually match them.
6. Make your buy signals from your strategy are the same as in your study! To do this, use the same “Volume Range Length” you entered in the STRATEGY and enter that value for the “Volume Range Length” in the STUDY. Also ensure you have the same settings for “Heikin Ashi” (On or Off).
Comparisons of Ranged Volume Strategy vs Ranged Volume DCA Strategy
BTCUSD
Beware of Strategies that claim super high profits. This can easily be done by lowering the initial capital to something unrealistic. If I did that with this strategy and set the initial capital $100 and base order size to $100, I get a net profit of 2,864% which is not realistic.
How to Use
1. On the “Inputs” tab:
a. Set your Start and End Time to backtest against.
b. Set your “Volume Range Length” (number of bars to look back)
c. “Heikin Ashi Colors” – Usually I leave this enabled
d. “Show Bar Colors” – Leave enabled
e. “Show Break-Out” – Leave enabled
f. “Show Range” – Leave enabled
g. Set your other inputs which are those settings you would find in your 3Commas bot that you want to test (e.g., Price deviation to open safety orders, Target Take Profit, Base order, Safety order, etc.).
h. Quick Example for BTCUSD on 2hr chart:
i. Price deviation to open safety orders (%) = 6
ii. Target Take Profit (%) = 14
iii. Trailing deviation = 0
iv. Base order = 100
v. Safety order = 200
vi. Safety order volume scale = 2
vii. Safety order step scale = 1.4
viii. Max safety order = 5
2. On the “Properties” tab, set your initial capital, base currency, etc.
a. Initial capital – Default is 10,000 (Please use realistic values here. The amount here should be able to cover ALL your safety orders if they were triggered. Ideally, you should have funds left over and not use all trade capital.)
b. Base currency – Select your currency
c. Order Size - Not used. Use the “Inputs” tab to change your base order size.
d. Leave “Pyramiding” set to 999. This acts as a ceiling to the “Max safety orders” on the “Inputs” tab. It must always be higher than your “Max safety orders.” For example, if you set your “Max safety orders” to “4” and “Pyramiding” to “4” then it effectively means you have “3” “Max safety orders” and not “4” because it is counting each successive entry including the initial order.
e. “Commission” - Optional
f. “Verify price for limit orders” – Leave at zero. This does not change anything that I can tell.
g. Optional - Enter a value for “Commission”
h. Slippage – Optional. Slippage does not occur in backtesting but does occur in real trading but it can be simulated. Example use case for tracking performance of a real money bot: You enter the start date and time of your bot’s trade into this strategy and you notice some values are a little off due to slippage (average price, take profit, safety orders are not lining up) then you would go back here and increase the slippage until those lines up close enough with your actuals.
i. Margin for long positions – I don’t use this honestly.
j. Margin for short positions – I don’t use this honestly.
k. Recalculate “After order is filled” and “On every tick” – I don’t use this honestly.
3. “Style” tab
a. Ranged Volume Bar Coloring - You must disable bar coloring in any studies you added or this may not work properly
i. Color 0 – Default Yellow; appears when a volume breakout occurs
ii. Color 1 – Default Red; appears when a volume breakdown occurs
iii. Color 2 – Light Blue; appears when Close is higher than the Open
iv. Color 3 – Dark Blue; appears when the Close is lower than the Open
b. Take profit – Default Green; take profit line
c. Safety order – Default Light Blue; safety order line
d. No Safety Orders left – Default Red; when a trade runs out of safety orders, the line turns red and there is no safety orders left underneath to catch any further falling price movements.
e. Avg Position Price – Default Orange; your average position price for any given trade.
f. Take Profit Plot Area – Default Green; creates a highlighted area for your take profit
g. SO Plot Area – Default Light Blue; creates a highlighted area for your safety orders
h. Trades on chart – Show or hide your trades on the chart
i. Signal labels – Show or hide the trade signal labels on the chart
j. Quantity – Show or hide the trade quantity on the chart
Explanation of Chart lines and colors on chart

9 EMA crosses 21 EMA
Recently closed candlestick has 15% higher average volume than previous 5 candles
A candlestick reversal pattern
Price crosses 9 EMA
Feel free to use and modify as you see fit. Happy trading!
Order Flow Analysis - MultiThis version of Order Flow Analysis tracks delta for six symbols.
The first ticker is the same symbol as the chart. Other tickers, the number of delta bars, location, font sizes and colors can be configured in settings. This also identifies top tick volume and lists in each bar.
Please do not refresh the browser or else values may be reset. Also, ignore the first delta bar values.
DMT TEMPELTON PECK STRATEGYIntroduction Templeton Peck Strategy Version .
Bring your A-game to the market in A-Team style with DMT Templeton Peck – you’ll love it when this plan comes together!
Using customized standard deviations between historic price action ranges and volume metrics, DMT Templeton Peck enables traders to never miss a change in trend.
In its default state, the DMT Templeton Peck Strategy displays key information, such as:
• Small trend line
• Large trend line
• Position entry prices
• Take profit levels
• Stop levels
• Buy and sell trend signals
In addition to providing core functionality for the indicator’s strategy signals, traders can use this data to enter or exit trades.
When price crosses both trend lines and consolidates there is a high probability that price will continue to move in the same direction. The most profitable results are achieved when trading in the direction of the current large time frame trend.
When small and large trend lines cross a trading signal is generated which can be used to automate trades. Please see the ‘TradingView Alerts’ section of this document for further details.
The Small & Large trend line’s display can be toggled, and their colors modified in the indicator’s style options as shown below.
Basic Strategy
In its simplest form, the strategy is to buy when the price crosses and consolidates above both trend lines and sell when the price crosses and consolidates below both trend lines.
Set amount of first entry to the inputs data.
You can add a commission fee.
Adjust initial capital for your needs.
How to Trade
Confident traders may choose to enter a long position at the point
#1 when the price passes above both trend lines and begins to consolidate.
However, the safer trade is to wait for the trend lines to cross at a point
#2 and then look for an entry in the direction of the local trend.
One price action begins to reverse to the downside the strategy reverses. Confident traders may choose to enter point
#3 when the price passes both trend lines and begins to consolidate once again under the previous price action structure that is now acting as resistance.
A sell signal is generated at the point
#4 which produced a small profit; however, a new short position could have been opened when the price retraced to resistance at a point
#5 and experienced a repeated number of strong rejections.
Do not worry if you miss a trade as there is often more than a single opportunity to enter – like at position #5 when price action retests the previous local price structure as resistance.
The indicator can be used on smaller time frames to scalp or find an entry after a larger time frame has signaled, however smaller time frames will also be “choppy” and should only be traded with a paper-tested strategy.
Traders should take profit on positions at resistance & support levels and look to have fully exited the trade by the time the price crosses back over both trend lines and/or loses a previously established price level.
Indicator Tuning
In its default state, the indicator is tuned for swing trades using 30 minute & 1 hour time frames, however, you are encouraged to experiment with the indicator options.
The input also allows you to set separately longs and shorts for a better view of the trend and to avoid hunts.
Large & Small Length options define how many historic candles are used for the calculation of the relevant trend line.
As a rule of thumb, larger time frames would use smaller values and smaller time frames would use larger values, ie. On a daily chart, a large and small length could be defined as 400 and 100 respectively.
Please be aware that there are limits to the amount of historical data for any intraday level based on your TradingView subscription level:
• Basic – 5000 bars/candles
• Pro & Pro+ - 10000 bars/candles
• Premium – 20000 bars/cables
