Axis Pressure Cartography [JOAT]Axis Pressure Cartography
Introduction
Axis Pressure Cartography is an open-source normalized pressure oscillator that measures how far price has deviated from a configurable moving average and classifies the resulting state into constructive, compressed, or overheated conditions.
Core Concepts
1. Normalized MA distance
Price is measured against a configurable moving average and normalized against recent maximum deviation so different volatility regimes remain interpretable on the same scale.
2. State persistence
Pressure states are held using a confirmation window rather than flipping instantly on small changes, which reduces noise and creates a more stable regime read.
3. Envelope logic
Pressure envelopes define structural bounds around the oscillator so extreme expansion can be recognized as a separate state from ordinary constructive trend pressure.
Features
Normalized pressure oscillator and signal
Compression, expansion, and overheated-state classification
Envelope rails and pressure background tint
Compact institutional dashboard
Confirmed alerts for flips, releases, and exhaustion transitions
Disclaimer
This indicator is educational only. Extreme pressure can persist longer than expected, and compression can resolve in either direction.
