You're probably wondering why short borrow fee rates differ from Ortex and other sources such as Fintel and Stonk-O-Tracker. Ortex stated that they have data that covers 85% of global security lending whereas the other sources only cover a minute basket of brokers. This is why the short borrow fee on Ortex is estimated at over 200% and other sources are showing 78%. Stay tuned!
