BANKNIFTY Index has resistance near 55750 – 55850 range and if index crosses and sustains above this level then may reach near 56250– 56350 range.
Banknifty has immediate support near 54950 - 54850 range and if this support is broken then index may tank near 54450 - 54350 range.

Gap down opening with low near 55175 and made high near 55615 and closed near 55590.
