LTCUSD bird's eye view
It looks to me that the price movement is correlated with BTC. If BTC makes a big move, LTC moves with it too. If there are nice developments from LTC's team, then it would be beneficial for the price.
Right now, it's better to lean on fundamentals and BTC's price if you want to play with LTC.
