Dow breaks key 42,000 support

The Dow has broken key support around 42000 as per the hourly chart above. The breakdown could lead to more selling pressure as we near the US presidential election, which is finally weighing on sentiment given how close the polls are. The DJIA has already broken a bullish trend line, so the path of least resistance in the next 24-48 hours is likely to be to the downside.
