XAUUSD - KOG REPORT UPDATE:

End of day update from us here at KOG:

Quiet day today for us with the market moving in the illustrated range. We're not expecting any big moves now until tomorrows NFP, unless we see late session moves but support stands just below here and resistance above. Not much to take out of it but if you're brave, nothing wrong with testing the levels with tight stops.

Support: 1710 / 1707 / 1702 / 1698 / 1695 / 1687 / 1680

Resistance: 1724 / 1730 / 1735 / 1737 / 1742 / 1750

KOGs Bias for the day:

Bullish above 1705 with targets above 1730 and above that 1735

Bearish on break of 1705 with targets below 1695 and below that 1685

Summary:

Pre-event price action has started, we’ve broken above the range, given a double top and looks like price is trying to break back inside the range. Trend line support is just below which seems to be working well. Would expect a sweep of the range lows so this is going to be a very difficult structure to trade. If you’re going to attempt it, use the extreme levels to test, smaller lots with risk model in place.
