After DXY spend the last couple of weeks ranging, it finally broke to the upside early last Friday. This week I will be watching for the bullish momentum to continue after a retest of the price levels broken out of. Right before the markets did close, I started building DXY longs (EU and GU shorts).
I will be risking 2% max on this idea across four DXY basket pairs (eurusd / gbpusd / usdjpy / usdcad) to account for any stop hunts, liquidity sweeps, etc in a particular market.
1% is already allocated and the remaining 1% will be put into DXY longs after I see bullish confirmation. If I am incorrect and DXY wants to go bearish, I will be looking to but the remaining 1% in DXY shorts (usdcad and usdjpy).
