Strongest TrendlineUnleashing the Power of Trendlines with the "Strongest Trendline" Indicator.
Trendlines are an invaluable tool in technical analysis, providing traders with insights into price movements and market trends. The "Strongest Trendline" indicator offers a powerful approach to identifying robust trendlines based on various parameters and technical analysis metrics.
When using the "Strongest Trendline" indicator, it is recommended to utilize a logarithmic scale . This scale accurately represents percentage changes in price, allowing for a more comprehensive visualization of trends. Logarithmic scales highlight the proportional relationship between prices, ensuring that both large and small price movements are given due consideration.
One of the notable advantages of logarithmic scales is their ability to balance price movements on a chart. This prevents larger price changes from dominating the visual representation, providing a more balanced perspective on the overall trend. Logarithmic scales are particularly useful when analyzing assets with significant price fluctuations.
In some cases, traders may need to scroll back on the chart to view the trendlines generated by the "Strongest Trendline" indicator. By scrolling back, traders ensure they have a sufficient historical context to accurately assess the strength and reliability of the trendline. This comprehensive analysis allows for the identification of trendline patterns and correlations between historical price movements and current market conditions.
The "Strongest Trendline" indicator calculates trendlines based on historical data, requiring an adequate number of data points to identify the strongest trend. By scrolling back and considering historical patterns, traders can make more informed trading decisions and identify potential entry or exit points.
When using the "Strongest Trendline" indicator, a higher Pearson's R value signifies a stronger trendline. The closer the Pearson's R value is to 1, the more reliable and robust the trendline is considered to be.
In conclusion, the "Strongest Trendline" indicator offers traders a robust method for identifying trendlines with significant predictive power. By utilizing a logarithmic scale and considering historical data, traders can unleash the full potential of this indicator and gain valuable insights into price trends. Trendlines, when used in conjunction with other technical analysis tools, can help traders make more informed decisions in the dynamic world of financial markets.

Candle #40 Sentinel – A Simple Visual Marker for Chart ContextWhat it is:
Candle #40 Sentinel is a minimalistic visual aid that marks the candle from exactly 40 bars ago on your chart. It creates a clear reference point to help you assess whether your trendline is based on enough price history to be considered reliable.
What it does:
Draws a frame marker on the candle 40 bars before the current one.
Gives you an instant sense of how much historical data your trendline or setup is working with.
Helps prevent decisions based on short-term patterns with little statistical weight.
Why use it:
Context is key: Many trendlines look strong but are based on too few candles to be meaningful. This tool helps you visually gauge that.
Stay disciplined: Only act on setups with enough data behind them.
Save time: No need to count candles manually – the chart tells you instantly.
Who it's for:
Traders who use trendlines and want a quick way to assess data depth.
Anyone looking to bring more structure and discipline to visual chart analysis.
Note:
This tool does not generate signals, does not calculate trends, and uses no classic indicators. It simply draws a reference at the 40th candle back – giving you a visual anchor point to work with.
Candle #40 Sentinel – Let your setups breathe before you trust them.
Because trendlines drawn over 10 candles aren’t trendlines – they’re guesses.
Market Structure - HH, HL, LH, LL with Trendlines & AlertsMarket Structure Script – HH, HL, LH, LL with Trendlines & Alerts
This Pine Script is designed to help identify key market structure patterns such as Higher Highs (HH), Higher Lows (HL), Lower Highs (LH), and Lower Lows (LL) on price charts. It also draws trendlines connecting the respective swing points and provides alerts when these important price patterns occur.
Key Features:
Swing High and Low Detection:
The script uses the ta.pivothigh and ta.pivotlow functions to identify significant swing highs and swing lows based on the pivot length (pivotLen). These points mark local peaks and troughs in the price action.
Dynamic Pivot Length:
The script adjusts the pivotLen (which defines the number of bars used to calculate swing points) based on the current timeframe of the chart. For example, for a 15-minute chart, it uses a pivot length of 5 bars, while for a daily chart, it uses 10 bars. This dynamic adjustment ensures that the script works across different timeframes.
Higher Highs (HH), Higher Lows (HL), Lower Highs (LH), Lower Lows (LL):
Higher High (HH): Identifies a price peak that is higher than the previous swing high, indicating an uptrend.
Higher Low (HL): Identifies a price trough that is higher than the previous swing low, supporting the idea of an ongoing uptrend.
Lower High (LH): Identifies a price peak that is lower than the previous swing high, suggesting a potential reversal or downtrend.
Lower Low (LL): Identifies a price trough that is lower than the previous swing low, indicating a downtrend.
Trendlines:
For each identified Higher High, Higher Low, Lower High, or Lower Low, the script automatically draws a trendline connecting the corresponding swing points. These trendlines provide a visual representation of the market’s price structure, showing support and resistance levels.
Labels:
The script places labels on the chart next to the respective swing points. These labels mark whether the point is a Higher High (HH), Higher Low (HL), Lower High (LH), or Lower Low (LL). This helps traders easily visualize the price pattern at a glance.
Alerts:
Alert conditions are set for when a Higher High (HH), Higher Low (HL), Lower High (LH), or Lower Low (LL) is detected. Users can set up alerts to be notified whenever one of these key market structure patterns forms. Alerts are an essential feature for traders who want to act quickly when important trend changes are happening.
Ultra TrendlinesThis indicator automatically draws trendlines based on every pivot point, helping traders visualize key support and resistance levels. It dynamically adjusts as new pivots are detected and validates the trendlines against price movement.
Introduction
The Ultra Trendlines indicator is designed to help traders identify and track significant trendlines on their charts. By automatically detecting pivot points (both highs and lows), it draws trendlines that highlight key market movements. These trendlines are valuable for understanding the broader trend and for making informed trading decisions.
Detailed Description
The indicator analyzes price data to find pivot points highs and lows over a user-defined lookback period. Once a pivot is detected, it draws trendlines between the pivot points.
.........
Accuracy
To ensure accuracy, the indicator only keeps trendlines that are confirmed by price action. It checks if the price crosses the trendline and deletes invalid lines.
Additionally, it checks if the trendlines stay within predefined price thresholds, filtering out irrelevant lines that are too far from current price action.
The indicator also has an option to only show "rising lows" and "falling highs" trendlines, offering further precision in trend direction.
As new pivots are detected, older trendlines that fall outside the lookback period are removed, ensuring the chart remains clean.
.....
Style
The trendlines can extend forward (infinite and userdefined), backward, both or none. The lines are drawn with a customizable style (solid, dotted, or dashed), color, and width.
.........
Summary of Key Points
The indicator automatically detects pivot points (highs and lows) and draws trendlines based on them. It allows you to customize the style, color, and width of the trendlines. The indicator filters out invalid trendlines by checking if they are still relevant based on price action and price thresholds. Additionally, you can choose to only display rising lows and falling highs for more accurate trend analysis. It also removes outdated trendlines to keep the chart clean.
Price-Volume w Trendline - Strategy [presentTrading]█ Introduction and How it is Different
The Price-Volume with Trendline Strategy is an innovative strategy that combines volume profile analysis, price-based Z-scores, and dynamic trendline filtering to identify optimal entry and exit points in the market. What sets this strategy apart is the integration of volume concentration (Point of Control or PoC) with dynamic volatility thresholds. Additionally, this strategy introduces a multi-step take profit (TP) mechanism that adjusts based on predefined levels, allowing traders to exit trades progressively while capitalizing on market momentum.
BTCUSD 6hr LS Performance
█ Strategy, How it Works: Detailed Explanation
The combination of multiple indicators and methodologies serves to create a more robust and reliable trading system. Each element is carefully chosen for its complementary role in providing accurate signals while minimizing false entries and exits. Here’s why the different components were chosen and how they work together:
- PoC and Z-Scores: The volume profile identifies key price areas, while the Z-score measures deviations from the mean. Together, they highlight points where the market is likely to react. For example, when the Z-score indicates an oversold condition near a PoC support level, it increases the probability of a reversal, providing a clear entry signal.
- Trendlines and Z-Scores: Trendlines serve as a secondary filter to ensure that price deviations identified by Z-scores align with broader market trends. This ensures that trades are only entered when the price has both deviated from its average and broken through a significant trendline level, reducing the likelihood of false signals.
- Multi-Step TP and Risk Management: Finally, the multi-step take profit logic works in tandem with the entry signals generated by the PoC, Z-scores, and trendlines. As the price moves in favor of the trade, profits are gradually locked in, ensuring the trader captures gains while still leaving room for further upside.
🔶 Point of Control (PoC) and Volume Profile Analysis
The PoC identifies the price level with the highest volume concentration within a specified lookback period. This price level represents where the most trading activity has occurred, often acting as a strong support or resistance. By breaking down the range into several rows (bins), the strategy identifies how much volume was traded at each price level.
🔶 Z-Score Calculation
The Z-score is a statistical metric that measures how far the current price is from its mean, expressed in terms of standard deviations. This is calculated both for price deviation and PoC-based deviation.
🔶 Trendline Breakout Filtering
The trendline filtering is a crucial aspect that refines entry signals by confirming trend continuation or reversals. It calculates trendlines based on pivot highs and lows using the selected method (e.g., ATR or standard deviation).
🔶 Multi-Step Take Profit
The multi-step take profit mechanism allows the strategy to take partial profits at several predefined levels. For example, when the price reaches 3%, 8%, 14%, or 21% above (or below) the entry price, it exits portions of the position. This is a useful technique for locking in profits as the market moves favorably.
Local
█ Usage
The Price-Volume with Trendline Strategy can be applied to various asset classes, including stocks, cryptocurrencies, and commodities. It is particularly effective in volatile markets where price deviations and volume concentrations signal potential reversals or trend continuations. By adjusting the settings for volatility and the lookback period, this strategy can be tailored to both short-term intraday trades and longer-term swing trades.
█ Default Settings
The default settings in the strategy play a vital role in shaping its performance.
- POC_lookbackLength (144): This defines the number of bars used to calculate the PoC. A longer lookback captures more data, leading to a more stable PoC, but may result in delayed signals. A shorter lookback increases responsiveness but may introduce noise.
- priceDeviationLength (200): This determines the period for calculating the standard deviation of price. A higher length smooths out the volatility, reducing the likelihood of false signals. Shorter lengths make the strategy more sensitive to sudden price movements.
- TL_length (14): Controls the swing detection period for trendline calculation. A shorter length will generate more frequent trendline breakouts, while a longer length captures only significant moves.
- Stop Loss and Take Profit: The strategy offers both fixed and SuperTrend-based stop losses. SuperTrend is adaptive to volatility, while fixed stop losses provide simpler risk control. The multi-step take profit ensures that profits are secured progressively, which can improve performance in trending markets by reducing the risk of full reversals.
Each of these settings can significantly affect the strategy’s risk-reward balance. For instance, increasing the stop loss level or the take profit percentages allows the strategy to stay in trades longer, potentially increasing profit per trade but at the cost of larger drawdowns. Conversely, tighter stops and smaller profit targets result in more frequent trades with lower average profit per trade.
MTF TrendLines [Private]As the name suggests, the Multi-Timeframe (MTF) Trendlines indicator allows you to extrapolate trendlines from a higher timeframe into your chart timeframe. A maximum of one upper trendline and one lower trendline will be plotted per indicator instance. You can load multiple copies of the indicator into your chart and manually set each copy to operate in a different higher timeframe.
The trendlines are based on the two most recent upper and lower qualifying pivots found in the higher timeframe, and you can adjust the pivot size via the settings menu. In order to qualify, an upper trendline must have a flat to downward slope and a lower trendline must have a flat to upward slope. In both cases there should not be any breach of the trendline between the two pivots. A tolerance factor is provided so you can introduce some leeway in terms of what constitutes a breach.
As mentioned above, the trendlines are actually extrapolated into the chart timeframe. By that we mean that the cluster of bars that comprise each individual pivot in the higher timeframe are located in the chart timeframe, and the bar with the highest-high/lowest-low is used as the actual pivot point. This is necessary because, for example, the high of a daily pivot bar may not always exactly match the highest-high found in the pivot cluster in the chart timeframe.
In terms of selecting the higher timeframe, there are two modes of operation which can be selected via the settings dialog. In Auto Mode the indicator will automatically select the higher timeframe to use based on your chart timeframe. In Manual Mode you select the higher timeframe to use. In either case the selected higher timeframe must always be greater than or equal to the chart timeframe.
Along with each trendline you can also elect to plot pivot markers as well as price labels. Each can be customized and/or toggled on or off via the settings dialog.
The pivot markers will display as up or down triangle shapes plotted below (for lower trendline) or above (for upper trendline) the two price bars that represent the two pivots used in generating the trendline. You have the option to display just the marker, or display the marker plus the timeframe.
The price labels will display on the most current price bar (an offset is provided) and can be configured to display the trendline value as of that bar, the trendline timeframe, or both. You can also adjust the orientation of the price labels.
For the trendlines themselves, you can adjust the color, thickness, and line type. You can also toggle upper and lower trendlines on or off independently.

BreathEasy TrendLine Scalping - Pro Dear Traders,
Trendlines are the one particular word ever trader would definitely know what it is. But the way it gets applied on to the chart is the one thing which needs to debated on. Traders definitely love to trade Trendline breaks like the way I do.
When it comes to Trendlines , we generally categorize them based on the Major Trendline and Minor Trendline, however concept of Breakout or Breakdown of trendline wouldn’t change whether it’s a Major or Minor Trendline. Trendline is by nature powerful and prices do respect the same. In order to add more power, I have combined the Trendlines with Fibonacci to time the entries correctly.
What you can expect from this Indicator?
This indicator is mainly designed to work on the lower time frames (Intraday Indicator), between 1 minute TF to 5-minute TF or max 10 minute.
It is necessary that you use this indicator on a highly liquid instruments such that calculations are smooth. since, price gaps may affect the accuracy of the results.
Script detects & plots Trendlines, based on the Pivot Points found on the chart and helps you take trading decisions wisely.
What is the scope or idea behind developing this indicator?
1. Its majorly build to identify the Trendline breaks (Break Out and Break Down)
2. Identify, Trend line False Break.
3. Identify the possible consolidation zone and intimate about the Consolidation Break
4. Peak Buying | Selling Possibility when Prices does cross levels based on the fib ratios.
Couple of Additional info | Points to Understand | Point of Comfort zone
1. Provides Alerts when the event happens such as (Important Trendline has Broken, Consolidation zone is broken etc.) and places a dummy entry indication that Indicator took a trade with the SL and Target if any.
Note: All the entries plotted by this indicator are just DUMMY for your educational purpose only. you may seek support from your financial advisor before placing similar trades in real market.
2. Indicator Can constantly notify you on ever time SL is updated, if necessary to keep you aware of. I have adopted volatility-based SL such that, if prices move too quick and too far SL also will move quick and gives enough room for the price to play its role. If the prices tend to go flat SL acts flat. It can also help you lock in some profits when your PNL reaches certain level either by price or by percentage. (All options are customizable)
3. It also takes HTF information wherever necessary if the indicator needs some additional confirmations like Trendline zone in higher timeframe or fib level in HTF zone. You can certainly advice indicator to direct which HTF to use.
4. If the Script need Volume confirmation there are possible options provided for you to direct the indicator to refer the volume source. Like if you are trading BNF you may direct the volume source to its related futures
5. Options are provided to customize to Qty and Lot and based on the suggested option it plots dummy entries with suggested Qty to trade with.
6. You may set the Max loss level for each of the trade which you would like to risk so that Indicator detects the setups which are in close proximity to that level. It so happens it detects setup with max loss level of 7K and due to price fluctuations dummy entry may lose bit more than what was capped.
There are many additional options | information’s | suitable Notifications via Alerts provided. To give you enough information for your trading decisions along with Dummy Trades info.
IMPORTANT POINT TO CONSIDER:
REPAINTING : I use the word “real time data” in my indicator tooltip in conjunction and help you understand what indicator does. By this you can understand the impacts of the same.
I strongly recommend you read the tooltips in order to understand the indicator better.
Enjoy!

Auto TrendLines and Support Resistance - Ultimate [Trendoscope]Have been working on this script from sometime. Thought it would be right time to publish this now :)
This is enhanced and combined version of two open source scripts.
Auto-TrendLines-HeWhoMustNotBeNamed
Divergence-Support-Resistence
⬜ Major Enhancements to open source
▶ Concept of drawing trendlines remains same. But, logic has been altered to allow considering existing trendlines before scanning new one and also finding the strongest of all.
▶ Strength of trendlines now takes more factors into consideration such as weightage of each candles from two points with respect to a given trendline.
▶ Angle of the trendlines are calculated and considered for determination of overall trend.
▶ Trendlines come with invalidation point and trend definition also can be based on single trendline instead of multiple ones.
▶ Improved divergence and based support/resistance calculations which yield less but more significant levels.

Angle calculation depends on the ATR and Angle loopback input parameters which can be altered. Also TrendLines with negative Line strength or formed way too back are ignored based on the settings. Hence, it is perfectly normal to have less than 4 trend lines on charts at times.

MA ExtensionThis indicator measures the vertical distance form the current close to the MA of your choice. I find that it does not work best as an oscillator, but it works well for providing early signals for taking profits when trend continuating. For example, if you go short due to a retracement to the MA (of your choice) take profits when a bearish trendline is broken (signalling the start of a bullish correction) that corresponds to the highs of the chart. The logic behind this indicator is that the breakouts of trendlines of an assets difference from an MA will precede corresponding breakouts of trendlines drawn on raw price. Kind of like Momentum, except it takes trend into account. Momentum has the same leading feature when it comes to drawing trendlines , but trendlines will be harder to draw due to the Momentum indicators oscillatory behavior.

Center of Candle Trendline### **Center of Candle Trendline**
This script dynamically plots a trendline through the center of each candlestick's body. The "center" is calculated as the average of the open and close prices for each candle. The trendline updates in real-time as new candles form, providing a clean and straightforward way to track the market's midline movement.
#### **Features:**
1. **Dynamic Trendline:** The trendline connects the center points of consecutive candlestick bodies, giving a clear visual representation of price movements.
2. **Accurate Center Calculation:** The center is determined as `(open + close) / 2`, ensuring the trendline reflects the true midpoint of each candlestick body.
3. **Real-Time Updates:** The trendline updates automatically as new bars form, keeping your chart up to date with the latest price action.
4. **Customization-Ready:** Adjust the line’s color, width, or style easily to fit your chart preferences.
#### **How to Use:**
- Add this script to your chart to monitor the price movement relative to the center of candlestick bodies.
- Use the trendline to identify trends, reversals, or price consolidation zones.
#### **Applications:**
- **Trend Analysis:** Visualize how the market trends around the center of candlesticks.
- **Reversal Identification:** Detect potential reversal zones when the price deviates significantly from the trendline.
- **Support and Resistance Zones:** Use the trendline as a dynamic support or resistance reference.
This tool is perfect for traders who want a clean and minimalistic approach to tracking price action. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced trader, this script provides valuable insights without overwhelming your chart.
#### **Note:**
This is not a standalone trading strategy but a visual aid to complement your analysis. Always combine it with other tools and techniques for better trading decisions.

RSI based support resistance levelsThis indicator draws support line and resistance lines in the price chart.
How ?
For drawing the support/resistance line we need to first determine the demand and supply.
We are using too-familiar indicator RSI to determine when the script is oversold and overbought.
Now oversold (in RSI) is not a point, it’s a zone. The RSI indicator comes below 30, stays there and goes up above 30. Similarly for overbought.
Now if you carefully look at the oversold region – the lowest point of the oversold region is the place where the demand came (for surety) and push the indicator (and price) up.
Similarly: the highest point of overbought is the place where (for surety) the supply came and push the indicator (and price) down.
So that’ the supply / demand line (for surety).
In this indicator, based on the RSI we are just drawing support and resistance lines in the chat. That’s all.
What is unique ?
Trendline concept is not new. RSI is not new. RSI overbought/oversold is not new.
There are indicators exist to draw trendlines. Some of them works beautifully.
However, none of these, we are aware of, uses RSI to determine it. And, we believe, the most logical way to determine support/resistance is RSI.

Triangle and Wedge Break [Only Long]The Triangle pattern
Triangle chart patterns are one of the most resourceful and practically advanced templates in technical analysis. These charts are the underpinnings of a well-calculated move when it comes to the assessment of risk and reward ratios. The pattern is often represented by drawing trendlines along an intersecting price scale, which suggests a stoppage in the ongoing trend.
The Wedge pattern
It is a price pattern that is denoted by the intersection of trend lines on a price chart. The opposing trend lines are drawn to connect the respective highs and lows of a price activity progression over the stretch of 10 to 50 periods. The lines can exhibit the magnitude of the highs and lows, signifying whether they are ascending or descending; this pattern gives the appearance of a wedge, hence the name. The wedge pattern has a good track record for forecasting price reversals.
This script is one of an attempt to help traders look for triangles and wedge patterns as soon as a breakout occurs.
How this script works:
1. First, it identifies the two tops of the pattern using the ta.pivot() function.
2. Next, it draws a trendline connecting those 2 tops, top A and top C (called the upper resistance line of the pattern).
3. Next, it draws a trendline connecting those 2 peaks (called the upper resistance line of the pattern).
4. Right now it will test 2 bottoms of the pattern (bottom B and bottom D).
5. Next, it will measure the ratio of waves AB, BC and CD (for example with triangle pattern, we need wave BC to retrace about 0.5 wave AB, same for wave CD and wave BC).
6. Finally, it will alert the trader if a break of a valid pattern occurs.
In addition, this script has more information about average trading volume, volume of candlestick breakouts. Those factors help us further confirm to enter the order.
This script is not all, you should combine other methods to increase your win rate.
Price Action in action
What?
Price Action in Action is an indicator to help Price Action learners and practitioners to get everything related for Price Action in one place.
Price Action is:
Price + Volume = Action
In this indicator, we have the following features available:
Support/Resistance
Using the RSI with different periods in a multiple of 7 (7, 14, 21, 28), we first determine the overbought (above 70, customizable) and oversold (below 30, customizable) regions. Then we pick up the highest point and lowest point in the RSI values in the overbought and oversold regions, respectively. These are the point, historically supply/demand emerged for surety to push down/up the RSI indicator and the corresponding price. So, these are the most accurate way, we believe, to draw support/resistance (or demand/supply) in the chart. By default, the Support is green color and Resistance is red color. To give a visual representation, we differentiate the different shades of green and red. For example, for Level-1 (i.e. 7 by default) we use the darkest shade (0 transparency) and Level-4 (i.e. 28 by default) we use lighter shade (60 transparency). Note please: you can customize the color of support and resistance lines (say if you want resistance as green and support as red). The respective shades (transparency) will be automatically adjusted accordingly. But those shade (transparency) levels are not customizable, they are fixed (please bear with it for version-1 at least).
Strength of Support/Resistance
In the chart above/below the Resistance / Support lines you can see the tiny labels with some numbers like 1, 2.
We found out how many times a particular support/resistance is appearing across multiple RSI periods. E.g. if price P1 appears 2 times among 4 different RSI periods, the number will be 2 for that calculation, and so on.
There can be multiple presence of these numbers in a support/resistance line (i.e. multiple tiny labels). Something like: 1, 1, 2 (into different candles). This means the same support/resistance is tested so many times in different occasion (means there is a RSI max/min coincides in this level over multiple occasions) at different candles.
This will help you to intuitionally gauge the “strength” of a support/resistance line.
The more the marrier, unworthy to mention.
Candle Stick Patterns
Well: we don’t need to tell anything about the Candlestick. All of you know it better than us. And it’s a time proven, zero-lag mechanism to judge the Price-Action is unfolding in the market. We do not know if there is anything better possible than this time tested patterns to judge the prevailing sentiments of market.
Price-Action does not complete without finding out the Candlestick Patterns correctly.
And in this indicator your will get all of these: Single Candle such as Doji (default off), Marubozu, Spinner, hammers, inverted-hammer etc. ; 2 candles like Tweezer, Inside Candle, Engulfing; 3 candles like morning star/evening star.
In the multi candle patterns (2/3 candles), we are grouping the candles with a dotted rectangle such that it is clear which 2/3 candles are part of the pattern. E.g. Morning Star: 3 candles are grouped in a dotted rectangle and the Morning Star label will come to the latest candle (3rd most – as the pattern is detected reliably only on the completion of the 3rd final candle).
Of course, any program can not eliminate your trained eyes and brain to capture the patterns. But we have provided sufficient knobs to adjust various parameters to tweak the candle-pattern detection. Such as Strict Inside Candle(Harami) Boolean knob where the whole current candle including wicks will be inside the body part of the previous big candle. For non-strict mode, the current candle just inside the previous candle, possibly by wicks.
To make it better usable, for every such knobs (which are not obvious) we have added user-friendly tooltip (just mouse hover the question mark (?) besides the control/switch). There are plenty of it.
Volume
Here we have a rudimentary (yet effective) way to judge the volumes.
We find out the Volume Weighted Moving Average (VMWA) of the 20-period (default, but customizable) and the latest volume. If the latest volume is more than the 20 period vwma, we just add a grey diamond on the top of the candle to denote it’s attracting volumes. Of course, we provide a Weight coefficient (default is set to 1). So if the current bar’s volume on bar’s completion is more than the 20 period volume vmwa times the weigh-cofficient, we mark it with a tiny grey diamond.
Points to be noted:
In all places we mark the indication only on the completion of the bar (technically speaking we have checks, as far as possible, with barstate.isconfirmed). However, if you wish, you can turn it off for Candlestick (as some experts may want to check candlestick on the real time, even before the closing of bars).
In case if you see the chart looks cluttered (because of many information, specially in smaller timeframes like 5 min), there are controls given in the settings to toggle each and every features.
By default, we turn off Doji candles (all 3 types of Doji’s – normal, Gravestone & Dragonfly) as they are mainly indecision. However, you can toggle it to turn it on.
It does not give you any Buy/Sell call. The interpretation it does not have.
Why?
What’s unique in it?
As we already mentioned our intention is to include Price (in forms of Support / Resistance), Volume and Action (sentiments in terms of Candlestick patterns) into a single place. And so far, to the best of our knowledge, we could not come across a single indicator provides all of these.
There were works available to determine the RSI based support / resistance zones. Those are great piece works at that time (lets say 3 years back when PineScript was in earlier versions). To the best of our knowledge those does not cover up finding out the lowest / highest point of RSI and the corresponding price to get the simplistic and distinct support/resistance lines.
We have the intuitive support/resistance strength included which we could not found out in current set of available indicators.
To the best of our knowledge, there seems no indicator can detect 3-candle patterns which are extremely popular to detect trend reversals (such as Morning Star or Evening Star). Moreover for the multi-candle patterns we are grouping the candles part of the pattens (2-candles or 3-candles) using a dotted rectangle such that it’s visually clearly (and a well educative material for Price-Action learners also).
Mentions:
There are many works which inspire us along the way. Honestly: we sometimes forgot which all indicators we experimented with. We are sincerely apologetic in case we forgot to mention. A few note-worthy:
There is an indicator from user “repo32” named as “Candlestick Patterns Identified (updated 3/11/15)”. (We could not be able to contact “repo32”). We are inspired from his work that it’s feasible to detect Candlestick patterns.
There is an awesome work done by “RSI Based Automatic Demand and Supply” by user “shtcoinr”. The idea of consulting multiple RSI levels to find out the demand/supply zone we inspired from him. (We did contact “shtcoinr” and got his kind permission to use the concept.)
We are greatly thankful to these abovementioned wizards for their pioneering a-prior work in this front.
And of course, this TradingView platform to provide this abstraction, facilitates and felicitates collaborative contributions.
Ultimately, what’s for you?
That’s the main question. What’s for you?
Price-action comprises of following 3 tasks (at least):
Draw support/resistance lines in the chart.
Once price reaches at the support/resistance line, you fervently look out the candles’ formation to mentally map to the candle patterns. Your aim is divine: You want to judge if the price-action will continue or take a rejection/reversal.
Then you double-confirm with the volume (in a non-overlaid chart below).
Finally take a trade.
For a price-action newbie or seasoned, expert practitioner, you must be doing all the above tasks regularly and manually, in a mechanical, mundane way. There come the humanly subjectivity & the inevitable emotions . This indicator, being a piece of program/code in PineScript latest version v5 , eliminates (or at least, reduces to a great extend) that subjectivity & emotions out of the way of decision making . Thus resulting better yield.
Of course, you can argue that you draw slanted trend lines also. We recommend an already existing indicator by user LuxAlgo named as “Trendlines with Breaks ”, if you wish so.
Disclaimer:
This piece of software does not come up with any warrantee or any rights of not changing it over the future course of time.

Happy trading.
[blackcat] L3 Trendline LTFLevel: 3
Background
Trendlines are easily recognizable lines that traders draw on charts to connect a series of prices together or show some data's best fit. The resulting line is then used to give the trader a good idea of the direction in which an investment's value might move. A trendline is a line drawn over pivot highs or under pivot lows to show the prevailing direction of price. Trendlines are a visual representation of support and resistance in any time frame. They show direction and speed of price, and also describe patterns during periods of price contraction.
Function
This is a noval low time frame (LTF) trendline which was inquired from TradingView community. "How to draw a trendline in lower time frame based on higher time frame trend? "
1. Trendlines indicate the best fit of some data using a single line or curve.
2. A single trendline can be applied to a chart to give a clearer picture of the trend.
3. Trendlines can be applied to the highs and the lows to create a channel.
4. The time period being analyzed and the exact points used to create a trendline vary from trader to trader.
Remarks
Free but closed sourced.
The drawing may fail if your current resolution is already in large time frame.
If the trendline is not drawn but you can see the red resistance and green support dashed lines, please drag the the chart to the left unitl you see the yellow solid trend line appears.
Auto TrendLines [HeWhoMustNotBeNamed]I started off with the intention of creating script to identify Wolfe wave projection. But, soon ran into problem with loops. Realized drawing wedge is more difficult than drawing converging triangle. Hence, took a step back and started working on wedges and triangle identification. Ended up with a messy output which looked like this.
Had to take another step back and hence decided to make Trendlines detection script and here we are :)
⬜ Process
▶ Scan pivots which are in trend. This means, series of pivot Highs or pivot lows either in ascending order or descending order.
▶ Draw trend line between each of the pivots in the trend series. For example, if there are 5 pivot high uptrend pivots, draw mXn lines between each of these points.
▶ Select the trend line which is more accurate or stronger. Accuracy is measured by number of candles/wicks touching the line and number of candles which fall outside the line. Stronger trendlines will touch more candles and pivots with less overflow.
▶ Remove all lines except the most accurate one for each direction.
At any point of time, you will see upto 4 trend lines in this script.
▶ Trendline joining pivot highs in uptrending condition
▶ Trendline joining pivot lows in uptrending condition
▶ Trendline joining pivot highs in downtrending condition
▶ Trendline joining pivot lows in downtrending conditions
The older line will remain until the new one comes through of same type. Hence, you will still be able to see uptrending high and low trend lines for downtrending instruments which are created way back!! Also, new trendlines replace old ones only if they are more stronger (connect to more pivots with less overflow)
⬜ Settings
Settings are simple.
User can select preferred Zigzag Length and Search Depth. Higher numbers for these two parameters will present longer term trends whereas lower numbers will display shorter ones.
Trend Lines controlls will allow users to enable/disable specific type of trend line, set color and line style to it.
⬜ Few Examples
▶ Uptrending Market : NASDAQ:NDX
▶ Downtrending Market : NYSE:BABA
▶ Ranging Market : NYSE:PLTR

XGBoost Approximation Indicator with HTF Filter Ver. 3.2XGBoost Approx Indicator with Higher Timeframe Filter Ver. 3.2
What It Is
The XGBoost Approx Indicator is a technical analysis tool designed to generate trading signals based on a composite of multiple indicators. It combines Simple Moving Average (SMA), Relative Strength Index (RSI), MACD, Rate of Change (ROC), and Volume to create a composite indicator score. Additionally, it incorporates a higher timeframe filter (HTF) to enhance trend confirmation and reduce false signals.
This indicator helps traders identify long (buy) and short (sell) opportunities based on a weighted combination of trend-following and momentum indicators.
How to Use It Properly
Setup and Configuration:
Add the indicator to your TradingView chart.
Customize input settings based on your trading strategy. Key configurable inputs include:
HTF filter (default: 1-hour)
SMA, RSI, MACD, and ROC lengths
Custom weightings for each component
Thresholds for buy and sell signals
Understanding the Signals:
Green "Long" Label: Appears when the composite indicator crosses above the buy threshold, signaling a potential buy opportunity.
Red "Short" Label: Appears when the composite indicator crosses below the sell threshold, signaling a potential sell opportunity.
These signals are filtered by a higher timeframe SMA trend to improve accuracy.
Alerts:
The indicator provides alert conditions for long and short entries.
Traders can enable alerts in TradingView to receive real-time notifications when a new signal is triggered.
Safety and Best Practices
Use in Conjunction with Other Analysis: Do not rely solely on this indicator. Combine it with price action, support/resistance levels, and fundamental analysis for better decision-making.
Adjust Settings for Your Strategy: The default settings may not suit all markets or timeframes. Test different configurations before trading live.
Backtest Before Using in Live Trading: Evaluate the indicator’s past performance on historical data to assess its effectiveness in different market conditions.
Avoid Overtrading: False signals can occur, especially in low volatility or choppy markets. Use additional confirmation (e.g., trendlines or moving averages).
Risk Management: Always set stop-loss levels and position sizes to limit potential losses.
